I like AUTOOL products that are constantly being upgraded, I had previously purchased the BT460 but I preferred a battery tester with printing capabilities. The BT880 is very versatile and the instructions are included in the package, easy to follow, and more and more languages are being supported. Good product!

I recently picked this battery tester because I didn¡¯t want to return to topdon version. The topdon has issues with the paper jamming all the time. I seen reviews about this one and wanted to give it a try. The price was a little higher than I wanted but I needed one. I use it on every vehicle at my dealer ship and print it out and put it on paper work . Great tool .
Customer –
Any product from Autool company is great. This BT880 is an exceptional product that have a few short comings (1) I just wish it had longer cable for device to reach inside vehicle while testing for example the acceleration pedal have to be pressed while someone press OK on the device at the same time, if cable were longer there won’t be need for a second person. (2) The letters and numbers to enter VIN on print out is very small and it’s strains my eyes. (3) Wish there was a way to do all test and make one print instead of printing after every test. Great product and quality from Autool.

I own three devices of this type from various manufacturers that are used for testing car batteries.
Compared to the others.. Bosch and Launch, at the end of the test, the workshop data and other additional or optional information cannot be printed.

This tool certainly is impressive as allows to perform specific diagnoses to measure and test the actual battery condition and its overall health. It can be use with the most common types of vehicle batteries available, as Regular flooded, AGM, GEL or EFB.
I¡¯m greatly surprised for the level of testing capabilities that is included with this tester. It accurately can measure the actual cold cranking current (CCC), battery voltage, state of charge (SOC), and state of health (SOH) as a percentage of battery life, providing insights and precise assessment of battery’s status and performance. It comes with several diagnostics programs to obtain a complete and in deep diagnostic of car¡¯s battery.
I really like its interface LCD color screen that shows precise trend graphics and can record values for each one of the routine diagnostics and tests performed, and also its added feature to get a printout register of the values obtained.
Incredible tool that was usually available only for professional shops, but now it comes down to be somewhat affordable for DIYers, enthusiasts and beginners. I already used in my weekend car¡¯s battery and wife car¡¯s and it helped me to confirm that my car¡¯s battery is reaching its end of life, and need to replace it soon. Wife’s car battery is still good to go.
So far, the construction of this battery tester seems rugged and the clamps and cables do not feel flimsy. It has a reasonable size and it comes with a rechargeable battery and hard-case to keep everything neat and stored in one place. This device also does offer 24v testing capability and the built printer certainly adds a lot of versatility to the tool compared with other manufacturers.
Overall, although not cheap, has a fair price compared with other similar testers. Certainly has now an affordable value for those ¡®garage, week-end mechanics¡¯, car enthusiasts or serious DIYers that like to do its own tests and diagnostics avoiding to pay for pro-shop visits.
It is a -simple to use- and effective tool that although somewhat specialized, I think is valuable and a ¡®nice to have¡¯ in your tool box -well, if you can afford it-. I guess that at the current professional-shop rates, by using it just a couple of times, it can pay by itself. I like that. Recommended.

Immediately after receiving the goods in a few cars on the test, the results are very intuitive and accurate, especially for the old car, can help me quickly determine the status of the battery, really save a lot of heartache. The interface is simple and clear, you don’t need to read the manual to operate, it’s perfect for us!

I’ve been using this battery tester for a while and I feel it works exceptionally well. The operation is very simple, you can know the status in a few seconds after connecting the battery, and the accuracy is also very high. Usually check the battery power and health is particularly convenient, to avoid a lot of unexpected problems. Machine workmanship is solid, holding a weight, put the car can be used at any time. There is also a print function, the test is directly typed out to the customer to see, very professional. Overall, this tester allows me to work more efficiently, and I highly recommend it to my friends who do auto repair!

I use it on every vehicle at my dealer ship and print it out and put it on paper work . Great tool . I think shops should supply this to techs because the business will be getting more surveys with customers having battery tested every service
