Product Overview
The AUTOOL SVB208 is a compact articulating automotive borescope camera for inspecting engines, combustion chambers, evaporators, pipes, and hidden components without unnecessary disassembly. Its 210° two-way steering lens, 6.25mm ultra-thin probe, 4.3-inch IPS screen, 8x digital zoom, IP67 probe, built-in 32GB storage, and up to 180 minutes of runtime help technicians inspect narrow, curved, and hard-to-reach areas more efficiently.
Before You Order And Use
SVB208 is designed for automotive visual inspection, but the lens, probe, and articulating cable must be protected from excessive heat, improper coiling, long exposure to liquids, corrosive materials, and direct sunlight.
Use Below 75°C
The camera lens is not designed for high-temperature inspection. Use SVB208 below 75°C and inspect only after the target area has cooled.
Wait For Engine Cooldown
After the engine stops, internal temperature may reach 80°C to 100°C or higher. Wait about 1–2 hours before inspection.
85°C Alarm Is A Warning
The 85°C alarm is an over-temperature warning, not a recommended working temperature. Do not use it as a normal operating target.
High Heat Damage Is Not Free Warranty
Camera damage caused by use above the recommended temperature range is considered abnormal damage and is not covered by free warranty.
Protect The Steering Cable
Do not operate the steering dial while coiling the flexible hose. This may break, deform, or damage the articulating pull wire.
Keep The Probe Clean
The probe is IP67 rated, but the device should still be kept clean. Avoid prolonged sunlight exposure and direct contact with water, oil, or corrosive liquids.

Questions And Answers
These answers cover SVB208 steering type, model differences, hot-engine use, temperature warnings, warranty limits, probe waterproofing, magnetic design, and articulating cable protection.
SVB208 focuses on 210° two-way steering with a 6.25mm slim probe, 4.3-inch IPS screen, built-in 32GB storage, and magnetic design. Four-way articulating models such as SVB303, SVB308, SVB405, and SVB408 provide 360° four-way movement for more complex inspection angles.
SVB403 has a 210° two-way steering angle, while SVB405 and SVB408 offer 360° four-way rotation for improved maneuverability. SVB403 includes two lenses, a front lens and a side lens, while SVB405 and SVB408 each have one lens. SVB405 has a 2MP camera, while SVB403 and SVB408 have 1MP cameras. SVB403 has a 4.3-inch screen, while SVB405 and SVB408 come with 4.5-inch screens. The bending radius also differs: SVB403 is 35mm, SVB408 is 37mm, and SVB405 is 47mm.
SVB305 has a 210° two-way steering angle, while SVB308 offers 360° four-way rotation for more flexible inspection. SVB305 has a 5.05mm lens, while SVB308 has a 6.2mm lens. SVB305 supports eight languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and Japanese. SVB308 supports all of these plus Traditional Chinese and Korean. SVB305 has a 2000mAh lithium battery, while SVB308 has a 2600mAh battery. SVB308 also includes a magnetic base and detachable design for hands-free use, storage, and maintenance.
SVB302 has a 210° two-way steering angle, while SVB303 supports 360° four-way rotation for greater control and visibility. SVB302 has a 6.45mm lens, while SVB303 is slightly slimmer at 6.2mm. SVB302 focuses from 30–100mm, while SVB303 focuses from 20–100mm. SVB302 supports seven languages including English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese. SVB303 supports these plus Traditional Chinese, Russian, and Korean, for a total of ten languages. SVB303 also adds a magnetic base and detachable design.
No. Use SVB208 below 75°C. After the engine stops, temperature may reach 80°C to 100°C or higher. Wait about 1–2 hours until the engine cools down before inspection.
The 85°C alarm is an over-temperature warning and protection reminder. It is not the recommended working temperature. For safer inspection and longer camera life, use the borescope below 75°C and wait for hot engine components to cool first.
High-temperature camera damage is considered abnormal damage. If the camera is damaged by using it above the recommended temperature range, free warranty will not be provided.
The SVB208 probe is IP67 waterproof and dustproof. However, the device should still be kept clean, and users should avoid prolonged exposure to water, oil, corrosive liquids, and direct sunlight.
Yes. SVB208 has a magnetic design that helps place the unit during inspection. This can support more convenient viewing and operation in suitable workshop conditions.
Do not operate the dial while coiling the flexible hose, because this may break or deform the articulating pull wire. Keep the borescope clean and avoid prolonged sunlight exposure or direct contact with water, oil, and corrosive liquids.
