23 Intake Adapters + Pressure Control

Key Features

HTS678 combines 23-adapter coverage, adjustable pressure and operating modes, simultaneous spray and recovery, HEPA filtration, intake-side carbon cleaning, workshop mobility, external-air blasting, and product support.

23 Adapters for Broad Intake-Port Coverage

The 23-adapter set supports multiple intake-port shapes and workshop cleaning setups. Match the adapter to the specific engine and intake-port shape before cleaning. The included adapter set fits multiple intake-port shapes, but it is not universal for every engine.

Integrated Spray And Vacuum Recovery

HTS678 sprays walnut abrasive and recovers it by vacuum at the same time, helping reduce scattered media and manual cleanup during intake carbon cleaning.

Built-In Dust Filter + HEPA Filtration

The built-in dust filter and HEPA filtration help manage collected walnut abrasive, carbon residue, and fine particulate during recovery. Recovered abrasive should be reused only when the vehicle service procedure permits it and the media remains suitable for reuse.

Adjustable Pressure Control

The pressure regulating knob and pressure gauge help users monitor and adjust blasting pressure for different intake cleaning tasks. Use pressure settings that match the HTS678 instructions, walnut media, air source, and vehicle service procedure.

Controlled Intake Valve Carbon Cleaning

With adjustable pressure control, walnut-shell abrasive helps remove carbon buildup from the intake pipe and the backs of intake valves, leaving the cleaned intake path visibly cleaner. Results vary with airflow, vehicle condition, diagnosis, and the service performed.

Standard Mode / Expert Mode

Choose Standard Mode or Expert Mode based on your experience and the cleaning task. Follow the HTS678 operating instructions when selecting Standard Mode or Expert Mode. Do not activate both modes at the same time.

Mobile Integrated Body

The three-section telescoping handle and 360° swivel casters make the machine easier to move around the workshop, while the storage-box configuration helps keep accessories with the unit.

1500W Rated Power + External Air Source

HTS678 is rated at 1500W for the machine system and built-in recovery, while an external air compressor provides the blasting force for walnut-shell cleaning.

Walnut Media Recovery & Reuse

The recovery and filtration system helps separate collected walnut-shell abrasive from carbon residue so suitable media can be reused. Under normal conditions, walnut-shell abrasive can be reused 5–10 times. Keep the media dry and replace it if it becomes contaminated, clumped, or cleaning performance drops.

3-Year Main Unit Warranty

Main unit: 3-year warranty. Standard accessories: 1-year warranty. Warranty Policy.

01

Step 1

Inspect And Prepare The Machine

Inspect the machine and organize the working setup before connecting hoses or loading walnut abrasive.

  • Inspect the machine and accessories.
  • Raise the telescoping rod as needed.
  • Access the storage box as needed.

Before You Start

Safety & Compatibility

Before using HTS678, check the external compressor, dry walnut abrasive, cleaning target, adapter seal, intake-valve position, selected operating mode, required personal protective equipment (PPE), and final residual-media recovery steps. Always follow the service procedure for the specific vehicle when it differs from general product guidance.

External Compressor Required

HTS678 requires an external high-pressure air compressor, which is not included. Use an external compressor with air pressure up to 0.7 MPa; 6 bar or more is generally recommended. Make sure it also provides sufficient continuous airflow and that the air tank, hose, quick-connect fittings, and duty cycle suit the blasting workflow.

Use Dry Filtered Air

Use dry, filtered compressed air. Moisture may cause walnut abrasive to clump or feed inconsistently; a dryer/water-separation setup is recommended.

Compatible Walnut Abrasive

The recommended fill is generally 3–5 kg of 0.6–1.2 mm walnut abrasive. Follow the HTS678 operating instructions for loading and use. Walnut abrasive inclusion may vary by selected package option; check the selected package contents before ordering.

Intake-Side Cleaning Scope

HTS678 is designed for intake-pipe and back-of-intake-valve cleaning. It is not designed for injectors, throttle valves, cylinders, or combustion chambers.

Adapter Match and Sealing

The 23-adapter set supports multiple intake-port shapes, but it is not universal for every vehicle. Before blasting, make sure the selected adapter fits the engine intake port, forms a secure seal, and does not interfere with surrounding components.

Valve Closure And Port Isolation

Start blasting only after confirming that the target intake valve is fully closed. Clean one intake port at a time and isolate other intake openings as required by the service procedure for the specific vehicle.

One Operating Mode At A Time

Use Standard Mode or Expert Mode according to the HTS678 operating instructions and the service procedure for the specific vehicle. Use only one operating mode at a time.

Protective Equipment and Walnut-Media Safety

Walnut-shell media can create dust and may trigger allergies. Wear suitable eye and respiratory protection, provide ventilation, and follow the walnut-media supplier Safety Data Sheet (SDS).

Walnut Abrasive Reuse

Reuse walnut abrasive only when the service procedure for the specific vehicle permits it and the recovered media remains suitable for reuse.

Residual Media Must Be Recovered

Remove visible residual walnut abrasive before starting the engine instead of relying on it to burn away. Before starting the engine, vacuum out the remaining abrasive and inspect the cleaned area to make sure no visible media remains.

Mechanical Cleaning and Chemical Cleaner Guidance

Chemical cleaners vary by product and application, and walnut blasting does not guarantee a specific vehicle-performance improvement. HTS678 is designed for intake-side carbon-deposit removal.

How Does Walnut Sandblasting Work with HTS678?

HTS678 uses processed walnut-shell abrasive as the blasting medium. External compressed air drives the abrasive across the target intake surface, while the recovery system collects spent media and loosened carbon. Use compatible 0.6–1.2 mm walnut abrasive, follow the media Safety Data Sheet (SDS), and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Can HTS678 Remove Carbon Buildup on Intake Valves?

HTS678 is designed to remove carbon buildup from supported intake-valve and intake-port surfaces when inspection confirms deposits and the service procedure for the specific vehicle supports walnut blasting. Use the correct adapter, pressure setting, and recovery procedure for the specific engine.

When Should Intake Carbon Deposits Be Cleaned?

Clean intake deposits when inspection or diagnosis confirms significant buildup and the vehicle procedure supports mechanical cleaning. Do not use one fixed mileage interval for all vehicles, and do not expect a guaranteed improvement in output, fuel economy, acceleration, or idle quality.

What Air Compressor Does HTS678 Need?

Use an external compressor with air pressure up to 0.7 MPa; 6 bar or more is generally recommended. Also make sure the compressor provides sufficient continuous airflow and dry air, and that the air tank, hose, quick-connect fittings, and pressure settings suit the vehicle and workshop setup.
