If you get one you need to purchase injection flow fluid, can be found on eBay. For the ultrasonic cleaning there are a few things that work well, purple power, extreme simple green, and then sharpertek makes some specific injector cleaning solutions.

This unit works well on many injectors. I have used it on GM and Ford so far. Very repeatable. After giving each injector multiple pulses to verify, I would say each one gave identical results so there was no worries as to the units quality and effectiveness. Bad injector gave the same PSI rating each time as did the good ones. It does not work on GDI injectors but for the price its a must have tool.

This injector tester worked great for my application. Found 1 injector in a 4 cylinder motor that flowed almost twice the others. All injectors were new from the car manufacture. The ability to set both the frequency and pulse width was helpful in verifying the operation of the injectors. For my application, I prefer this unit to less expensive testers.

The four injectors I have are pretty big for street applications so the system has a hard time building any pressure over idle setting. I wish it would come with fluid recommendations. All so found out the ultrasonic bath is heated nothing I read about it said it did. Overall it gets the job done.

Bought this in November and was really happy when I bought it. Today I went to use it and thought the pump was bad. Wasn¡¯t building any pressure. Went to read the instructions and I had to press the up button a few times to get it where it was building pressure. I think this is what people may have issues but is user error and not the machine. It comes with a Bosch pressure pump from factory.

Used for Toyota Camry fuel injectors. Worked well and easy to do the job. There are videos that show how to use this. One recommendation is to clean the area around the fuel injectors before removing them as there may be dirt and grime built up over time, if not cleaned can get into the cylinder. Cleaned the injectors instead of spending $100 for new injectors.

I wish I had one of these years ago. I would always change out all injectors on my dune buggy at the same time since I never knew the condition of them.I always kept my old injectors and with this tester I was able to reclaim 15 fuel injectors. I was able to clean them up and check the flow meaning I could also flow match them.Some injectors were clogged beyond repair but the 15 I did save more then paid for the cleaner tester machineI can definitely recommend this Fuel injector Cleaner/tester.

The manufacturer has failed to build a product that meets the intended use and did not test the product for accuracy or usability. There are many defects in the programming of the electronic circuit board that operates this Autool CT150, which makes the product nearly useless for testing. It cleans the injectors ok. Manufacturer failed to provide quality programming and did not provide a means to drain or clean the reservoir tank. For example. To use the menu item 10. High speed test value. You must press the UP button 89 times to get a reasonable amount of time duration setting for the test. Holding the up button doesn’t work. Then after the test is completed, the circuit board reboots loosing the settings. You then must repress the up button 89 more times. There are several design defects of header manifold that feeds the injectors that creates a pressure drop inside. The two inner injectors receive higher pressure than the outer two injectors.Example: the quality vs time of fluid delivery by the injector changes depending on which position on the manifold it is placed. Totally useless for comparing injectors performance or fuel delivery vs time… like it was designed to do.Injector adapters are cut too long and go too deep into header causing pressure drop. I put a picture of the inside of the header where you can see the adapter threads extend too deep into the header. The LED lights are positioned to shine directly into your eyes. I had to block the LEDs with a piece of card board. Workmanship and quality of materials is very good.

It works as described right out of the box but it only comes with one 120 to 220 inverter so you can only run the tester or cleaner one at a time, so I massaged the seller and I was told I needed a power strip with an Asian/Australian connecter . They don’t have them at there store so I have to look for one ells where or buy another 120 to 220 inverter, witch they emailed me a link to where I could buy one”, Or I can get creative with the power cords from both the tester and cleaner, if you know what I mean. I think I’ll try the last one ,needless to say if I knew this before hand I would have bought it anyways . All in all I’m very happy with my purchase ..

This is one of those tools which is good to have a working knowledge on how injectors work and what you can do to keep them working 100%. This cleaner plus tester has you covered. It has an ultrasonic tub which you will use to clean out injectors. After cleaning the next step is to make sure it seals property. You do this by mounting it on a rail and spray fluid through the injector. Another diagnostic tool is the ability to view the spray pattern of the injectors through the clear tubes which are backlit for good viewing of the spray atomization.This unit has an LCD touch screen. You use the screen to setup all the parameters and select the test/operation you wish to run. The cleaning tub is a separate and you need to connect the pigtail wires to fire up the injectors from the main unit. Easy to use to see spray pattern and clean fuel injectors. I first soak the fuel injectors overnight in carburetor cleaner then sonicate the injectors in carburetor cleaner cleaner while runing this device in continuous mode for 30 minutes then checking the injector, hooking the injector to this device and an aerosol can of carburetor cleaner. I do this outside and away from my house in case the sonicator catches the carburetor cleaner on fire.

A really well equipped kit that covers nearly any engine you can think of. It has a professional style pressure pot to supply the cleaner to the fuel system. This allows you to run directly into the injector or fuel rail to get it all clean. It has banjo fittings for those Bosch and other style pumps and injectors, and even has a fitting for inserting in the air cleaner intake tuning to get it and the throttle body clean. If you like to work on your own cars this is likely the only or you’ll ever need. A great addition to my tool set!

Tested, cleaned, and re-tested 4 sets of injectors I had laying around as soon as it arrived and I am impressed at how well it works. Found one dead injector and several that needed cleaning badly.This tool will be a great asset in my shop. It had trouble with the flow test on a set of old low impedance injectors, in fact it can’t do it. It just shuts off immediately, which is good news because this means it has internal over current protection so it won’t damage any injectors. Still not sure what the graduations on the glass cylinders means though, and could use a side-feed adapter.

Picked up this fuel injector tool a couple of weeks ago and have used it nearly every day since. Well built, easy to use and works well. My only negative point is with such small writing on the menu list it would be better to have numbers next to the item so that you dont have to always do a manual count. Apart from that it works really well. Instructions should be more clear about which fluids it should use otherwise I believe damage can happen with the incorrect fluids. Good product.

The kit is definitely not on the cheaper end. However, having all of the fittings available at your disposal makes it a great deal. Not only can you use most of these for fuel purposes but also evap and vacuum. I was planning on purchasing one of the bench injector flushtest machines but I simply can’t justify it for my use case. If you have a few vehicles and plan on cleaning injectors every few years, this is perfect.I went ahead and paired it with one of the injector testers that run off of a 9V battery. You can obviously do this using the vehicle ECU but the inexpensive tester allows you to test on your workbench. If you carefully time the tests between injectors you can measure and verify that flowrate of all injectors is the same.The pressure regulator works fairly well and is smooth. I had no issues adjusting between 45 and 60 psi depending on the injector I was using. I have purchased other items with air fittings from overseas and normally the quick connect doesn’t fit (well or at all). I saw that other people had issues with it. I simply replace it with a connector of my own every time without issues.Overall, I can highly recommend this kit. It is way cheaper than having to send injectors out for testing and flow measurement. You can also do it on the spot. It saves space and allows you to do just about the same functions as the $400+ injector test machines.

We¡¯ve had a heck of a time with our marine engine¡¯s fuel injectors clogging with paint chips from the OEM fuel cell- the injectors kept clogging. The marina fixed twice by sending the injectors out to be cleaned @ two grand a pop. After purchasing this little unit I can pop out my injectors and do the cleaning myself (with injector rebuild kits). 40 minutes removing/cleaning/reinstalling paid for itself 4 times over and we aren¡¯t waiting weeks to get the boat back from the marina. This is a must have if you are a boat owner experiencing fuel injector issues. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

And it doesn’t say how to empty the reservoir after the work is completed (you must tip the unit on it’s side to empty the reservoir). Parts of the tool appear to be well-made, while other parts (e.g., the dump valve for the ultrasonic bath and the aforementioned plastic parts) are really cheap or made of the wrong material. 2 or 3 sets of extra pin connectors should have been provided with the unit, plus 2 or 3 plastic front panels, however, the pin connectors can’t be unplugged. I purchased a used Mercedes wiring harness on Ebay to scavenge the injector pin connectors. I’ll try cutting off the Chinese connectors and splicing on the German connectors, which are solvent-resistant. I love how well this machine worked, but I’ve used it only once. I tried to dump all the carb cleaner from the unit, but it remains to be seen if lingering vapors will damage internal seals. Next time I use it, I’ll update this review.

This tool worked great to help me clean the injectors on my 2008 Audi A6 4.2. I used a motorcycle battery to power this. Then I attached a piece of fuel line to the injector and secured it with a hose clamp. Then I filled up the hose with fuel injector cleaner. I put a air nozzle on my compressor and then turned on the pulser and hit it with the air. The injector output started as a stream and finished as a nice atomized mist. Going to try this on my Jeep injectors next. Will be a lot easier than the direct injectors on my Audi.

Critical omissions: It doesn’t tell you how to fill the reservoir; It doesn’t describe the process of dumping the vials after the flow test (that’s what the little handle is for, in the center of the vials);

It works as described. Had to watch YouTube to figure out functionality. My only major gripe is when you finish flow testing injectors it makes a mess when you unscrew the rail. I haven’t figured out how to do that without spilling test fluid everywhere. That why I gave it 3 stars. Also not a big deal but the cover for the ultrasonic cleaner doesn’t fit over the well when the injector basket is in it. The lighting is nice, it makes spray patterns easy to see. Also my favorite function is volume test you can compare flow from a volume standpoint over a set time (in seconds). This allows you to compare injector to injector.

I enjoy fixing up older cars with high mileage. It took a GM 3.6L that was sputtering over 4000 RPM back to the full smooth 300HP+ power it had when new.I’ve tested/cleaned 11 injectors in the 2 months I have had this machine and every one of them dramatically increased their flow rate and got back to a nice atomization cone spray pattern. You get to see the progress from where they start to when you finish, and seeing is believing.

I tried using the wash function! The injectors cleaned very well. Customer service reminded me that I should not test the injector nozzles with a cleaning fluid that is corrosive and could cause damage to the pump.

I looked at this thing I was skeptical at first. But once I set it up and started using it it was easy to use. Glad I bought it. I had some injectors on my truck that were not working. I bought a new set of injectors random through the machine found one bad one. Glad I had the machine and I didn’t just stick them in the motor because then I would have been ripping it back apart. Then I took one out of the set that I just pulled out got the best one that matched the rest of the new set tested them all out they were all even. Put them in the truck ran it truck ran like brand new. If I would have never used the machine I would have never knew wanted to injectors are bad and probably would have been putting in new 02 sensors. But everything worked out great for me and I’m very happy. Very nice machine, glad I invested the money in it very satisfied with it. Now I can’t wait to find someone who has bad injectors so I can test them out in it. I would buy again if I had to. Very nice machine.

This fuel injector tester (Autool 160) is a blast to use. I was able to find the one injector on my 5.7 hemi hanging open and fouling the plugs. Very useful for testing and cleaning.
