LM100 has defined pressure limits, hose pressure limits, environmental restrictions, and safety requirements. Confirm the rated pressure of the system before testing.

Safety And Use Notes

  • LM100 measures gauge pressure with a range of -101 kPa to 6 MPa / -0.1 bar to 60 bar.
  • The absolute pressure limit is 10 MPa / 100 bar.
  • The standard hose maximum working pressure is 600 PSI / about 4.13 MPa / 41.3 bar.
  • The standard hose limit is 3000 PSI / about 20.68 MPa / 206.8 bar.
  • Before testing, confirm the rated pressure of the equipment being tested.
  • Do not use the LM100 if the test pressure exceeds its rated range.
  • For DY517A, if the charging hose does not meet pressure requirements, use a suitable replacement hose for testing.
  • Do not use or store this refrigerant leak detector in high temperature, high humidity, flammable, explosive, or strong electromagnetic environments.
  • Do not modify the internal circuitry of the LM100 to avoid damage or potential hazards.
  • Wear proper protective equipment during testing.
  • Use the instrument in a well-ventilated environment to avoid inhaling toxic gases.
