Product Overview
The AUTOOL LM120+ is a digital refrigerant manifold gauge for air conditioner, refrigeration equipment, and cold storage installation, testing, and maintenance. It supports dual pressure testing, vacuum measurement, pressure leak testing, refrigerant filling assistance, multi-unit switching, and dual temperature measurement when compatible wired temperature clamps are connected.
Before You Order And Use
LM120+ is used on pressurized refrigeration systems. Confirm the system pressure, hose rating, clamp accessory requirements, and working environment before connecting the gauge.
Confirm Rated Pressure
The digital manifold pressure tester measures gauge pressure. Do not use it if the tested equipment exceeds the instrument range.
Instrument Range
Pressure testing ranges from -101kPa to 6MPa, equivalent to -0.1bar to 60bar. The instrument limit pressure is 10MPa, or 100bar.
Standard Hose Limit
The standard hose maximum operating pressure is 600PSI, about 4.13MPa or 41.3bar. Its limit pressure is 3000PSI, about 20.68MPa or 206.8bar.
Use Suitable Hoses
If the packed hoses do not match the pressure requirement, use suitable replacement hoses for testing instead of forcing the standard hose.
Temperature Clamps Required
Dual temperature measurement requires compatible clamp-on temperature probes. The original product text notes that the test clip is required and not included.
Prepare AA Batteries
The gauge uses 4 × 1.5V AA/LR6 batteries. Prepare batteries separately if your shipment does not include them.
Operating Environment
- Do not use or store the instrument in high temperature, high humidity, flammable, explosive, or strong electromagnetic environments.
- Do not modify the internal circuit, to avoid instrument damage or safety hazards.
- Wear qualified protective equipment during testing.
- Use the instrument in a well-ventilated environment to reduce the risk of inhaling toxic gases.
- Check pipe fittings and hoses before pressure leak testing. Replace damaged parts before use.

How To Use
The manual covers refrigerant filling and pressure inspection, vacuum operation, and pressure leak testing. The steps below summarize the user decision path without replacing the full manual.
Refrigerant Filling And Pressure Inspection
Turn off the blue and red valves, power on the gauge, select pressure test status, choose refrigerant and display units, zero the display if needed, then connect the gauge to the refrigeration system according to the flow direction.
Vacuum Operation
Switch to vacuum test status, connect the system correctly, turn on the blue and red valves, start the vacuum pump, and close the valves before shutting the vacuum pump after operation.
Pressure Leak Test
With both valves off and the instrument powered on, switch to pressure leak test mode. Press Run / Stop to start the test and monitor initial pressure, instant pressure, pressure difference, and elapsed test time.
Temperature And Superheat / Subcooling
When the tested refrigerant is selected and clamp-on temperature probes are connected correctly, the gauge can display real-time temperature and calculate SH superheat and SC subcooling data.
Use Notes
- Do not remove the high-pressure valve connection until the pressure drops to a safe point.
- Different equipment and refrigerants may require different filling procedures. Read the equipment-specific requirements before operation.
- Connected clamp-on temperature probes must contact refrigeration pipes fully for accurate temperature display.
- Inspect pipe fittings and hoses before pressure leak testing, and replace damaged parts immediately.

LM120+ is an auxiliary digital refrigerant manifold gauge for installation, testing, and maintenance of refrigeration equipment such as air conditioners and cold storage systems. It supports dual pressure testing, vacuum measurement, pressure leak testing, refrigerant filling assistance, multi-unit switching, and refrigerant data reference.
The instrument measures gauge pressure. The combined warning range is -101kPa to 6MPa, or -0.1bar to 60bar. The pressure test range is 0kPa-6000kPa, the vacuum test range is -101kPa-0kPa, and the instrument overload limit is 10MPa, or 100bar.
The standard hose maximum operating pressure is 600PSI, approximately 4.13MPa or 41.3bar. The hose limit pressure is 3000PSI, approximately 20.68MPa or 206.8bar. Confirm the tested equipment pressure first, and use suitable replacement hoses if the packed hoses do not match the pressure requirement.
The original product text says the temperature test clip is required and not included. LM120+ supports dual temperature measurement when compatible clamp-on temperature probes are connected to the instrument and fully contacted with the refrigeration pipes.
LM120+ uses 4 × 1.5V AA / LR6 batteries. Prepare batteries separately if your order or shipping region does not include them.
The LM120 / LM120+ manual lists a built-in 89-kind refrigerant NIST database. The comparison chart on the product page may show a different refrigerant species count by model or product version, so confirm the database version with support if this detail is critical for your work.
Yes, the gauge can calculate SH superheat and SC subcooling when the tested refrigerant is selected and compatible clamp-on temperature probes are connected correctly and fully contacted with the refrigeration pipes.
According to the comparison chart, both LM120 and LM120+ support vacuuming mode, refrigerant mode, pressure leak test, foldable hook, visible refrigerant window, and high/low pressure valves. LM120+ additionally shows trichromatic tube support and two wired temperature clamp support.
Choose LM120+ if you need a balanced digital manifold gauge with trichromatic tube, wired temperature clamp support, visible refrigerant window, and high/low valves. Consider LM150 if you want a more advanced gauge option shown with higher refrigerant species count in the chart. Consider LM160 if you need the higher-end model with program control system, two-side handrails, more language options, and broader database support.
Check pipe fittings and hoses before testing. If any damage is found, replace the damaged part immediately to avoid improper use or accidents. Also confirm that the equipment pressure is within the instrument range and that the hose rating is suitable.
