How To Use
Use the PT650 with the correct transmission pressure test point, suitable adapter, proper zeroing, and safe vehicle-specific test procedure. The operation image summarizes the main testing sequence.
Remove The Main Oil Pressure Plug
Remove the main oil pressure plug on the automatic transmission housing according to the vehicle service procedure.
Connect The Adapter
Select the adapter that matches the vehicle model and connect it to the measuring probe.
Zero The Pressure
Reset the pressure value to zero before testing to help keep the reading reliable.
Connect To The Transmission
Connect the measuring probe to the transmission pressure test point securely.
Start And Shift
Start the engine and perform gear shifting as required by the vehicle test process.
Read The Pressure
The pressure gauge displays measured pressure and related readings for diagnosis.
Use Notes
- Insert four 1.5V AAA batteries and confirm correct polarity before operation.
- Long press the power / language button for more than 2 seconds to start the instrument.
- Zero the pressure before testing, and select the desired pressure unit before reading the result.
- After measurement, shut down the unit under atmospheric pressure.
- The device automatically powers off after 5 minutes of inactivity when no pressure is applied.

Use Four AAA Batteries
PT650 uses four AAA batteries and 6V operating voltage. Install batteries with correct polarity and close the battery cover securely.
Zero Before Testing
Perform pressure zero setting before measurement. The real-time pressure should display as 0 before testing begins.
Do Not Overload
The manual lists 40 bar overload pressure. Do not use PT650 beyond its intended pressure range or in unsuitable systems.
