Read these notes before using the AST618 brake fluid exchanger. Correct pressure control, clean connections, and proper used-oil draining help protect the vehicle brake system and the machine.
Factory Pressure Setting
The pressure regulator is set around 1-1.5bar before delivery to help protect the brake fluid reservoir and secondary sealing ring during fluid exchange.
Avoid Excessive Pressure
Lower-pressure bleeding or fluid exchange is possible. Higher working pressure should only be used when appropriate; excessive pressure may damage the brake master cylinder or related brake components.
Check Every Connection
Before changing oil, check each connection for leaks and inspect the connecting hoses for damage.
Keep The Filler Port Clean
Keep the new brake fluid filler port clean during operation to avoid contaminating the new fluid.
No Engine Start Needed
The vehicle does not need to be started during the brake fluid exchange operation.
Drain Used Oil After Service
After the oil exchange, drain used oil from the equipment tank completely. If it is not emptied, the vacuum pump may be damaged and later oil-change operation may be affected.
Brake Fluid Reminder
- Use compatible brake fluid types such as DOT3, DOT4, and DOT5.1 as required by the vehicle.
- Do not allow air, water, or debris to enter the brake fluid system during service.
- Always follow the vehicle service sequence when draining old fluid from each brake caliper.
Key Features
AST618 combines pulse exchange, adjustable control, four-wheel service capacity, automatic monitoring, and a mobile workshop-friendly design for larger brake fluid service workloads.
Four-Wheel Simultaneous Exchange
AST618 can connect to four brake calipers at the same time, helping workshops complete brake oil exchange more quickly than single-wheel or two-wheel models.
Pulse One-Button Replacement
After setting the working environment, one technician can operate the machine and start the automatic brake fluid replacement process.
Adjustable Digital Control Panel
The panel supports pressure adjustment, pulse adjustment, time adjustment, pause/start control, and relief pressure/stop operation with visible working parameters.
Liquid Level And Pressure Monitoring
The built-in monitoring device helps detect pressure status and can stop operation if the system cannot build pressure or the new fluid supply is abnormal, reducing the risk of air entering the brake line.
3L Stainless-Steel Oil Pot
The 3L stainless-steel oil pot is designed to be corrosion-resistant, collision-resistant, and durable for workshop use.
17 Adapters For Wider Coverage
The included 17-piece adapter set supports many European, American, and Asian vehicle models, improving compatibility during brake fluid exchange.
Air-Free Service Design
The machine does not need pre-exhausting before use. The suction pipe design helps separate moisture from air and reduce contamination of brake fluid.
Mobile Trolley Structure
Four rollers, a three-section telescoping handle, hanging hooks, and hose storage details make the AST618 easier to move and operate around a workshop.
Warranty And Support
AUTOOL provides 3-year warranty support for eligible non-human damage cases, with support for setup, accessories, troubleshooting, and model selection.
How It Works
AST618 delivers new brake fluid under controlled pressure while used fluid is drained from each brake caliper in the proper sequence, helping complete brake fluid replacement without manual pedal bleeding.
Fresh Fluid Delivery
Brake fluid is pumped from the new fluid container and delivered to the vehicle brake fluid reservoir at the selected working pressure.
Caliper-Side Fluid Discharge
Used brake fluid is drained from each wheel brake caliper in the prescribed sequence until new clean fluid flows out.
Pulse Pressure Exchange
Pulse pressure helps move fluid through the brake lines and can reduce the chance of air bubble formation compared with basic pressurized filling.
Monitoring Protection
If pressure cannot be generated or the pump draws in air, the machine can stop to help prevent air from entering the vehicle brake fluid reservoir.

Design And Support
How To Use
AST618 is designed for one-person brake fluid exchange. Prepare the vehicle, connect the four oil ports, add compatible new brake fluid, connect 12V power, set the working parameters, and drain used oil after service.
Prepare The Vehicle
Raise the vehicle to a suitable height so the drive wheels are not on the ground. The vehicle does not need to be started.
Connect Four Outlet Hoses
Connect the machine’s four oil ports to the vehicle brake cylinders, then loosen the bleeder screws on the brake cylinders as required.
Add Fresh Brake Fluid
Add compatible fresh brake fluid into the oil filling port according to the tank capacity, vehicle requirement, and manual instructions. Do not overfill.
Connect The Reservoir Adapter
Select the matching connector and connect the filling hose to the brake master cylinder reservoir.
Connect DC 12V Power
Connect the machine to a DC 12V vehicle battery and turn on the power switch.
Start The Exchange
Press the Vacuum Switch, then press the Fuel Switch to start changing brake fluid.
Adjust Refilling Speed
During the process, watch the brake oil tank mouth. If refilling is too slow, press the acceleration switch. If it is too fast, press the deceleration switch.
Drain Used Oil After Service
After the oil change, drain the used oil from the equipment tank completely to help protect the vacuum pump and maintain future operation.
Use Notes
- Do not start the vehicle during operation.
- Use DOT3, DOT4, or DOT5.1 only when compatible with the vehicle service requirement.
- Check all hoses, adapters, and connections before starting.
- Do not over-adjust the working pressure.
- Drain the used-oil tank after the operation is complete.
