Before You Order And Use

Before You Order And Use

HTS705 is a professional dry ice blasting machine. Confirm the compressor, dry ice supply, shipping policy, safety protection, and cleaning requirements before ordering.

External Air Compressor Required

The air compressor is not included. HTS705 requires an external compressed air source, and cleaning effectiveness depends heavily on stable air pressure and airflow.

90 PSI / 6bar Class Air Supply

Use an air source of at least 90 PSI / 6bar class for proper cleaning. A 1.5m³/min compressor with a 300L air tank is recommended for stable operation.

Dry Ice Pellet Requirement

3mm dry ice pellets are recommended. Product materials also mention support for dry ice pellets up to 8mm, but 3mm is the standard reference for stable blasting.

Air Inlet And Nozzles

The air inlet connection is a female 1/2 thread with an inner diameter of about 19mm. Nozzle sizes are available in 5mm and 6mm.

3m Hose Included

The standard blasting hose is 3m. A longer hose can be customized up to 5m with an extra fee. Contact support before ordering a custom hose.

Shipping And Tariff Reminder

Tariff policies vary by country. HTS705 shipped from China to the United States may be tariff-free, and tariffs for other countries may be reduced depending on policy.

Return Limitation

Due to high shipping cost and possible customs duty, HTS705 does not support returns. Confirm compressor, voltage, shipping, tariff, and application details before purchase.

Use PPE And Ventilation

Dry ice is about -78.5°C. Wear gloves, goggles, hearing protection, protective clothing, and a mask. Operate in a well-ventilated area because CO₂ gas is produced.

Do Not Aim At People

Do not point the spray head at people. Dry ice particles and high-pressure airflow can cause injury. Use closed-toe shoes and avoid touching dry ice or the spray barrel directly.

Safety And Application Boundaries

  • Turn off the drive power of moving equipment before cleaning.
  • Do not operate the equipment in rain, wet locations, or unsafe electrical environments.
  • Keep foreign objects out of the dry ice tank when adding dry ice.
  • Before each operation, set ice feeding speed to 0 and check whether condensed water is sprayed from the nozzle.
  • Dry ice blasting is not recommended for car interiors, soft trim, or delicate surfaces unless the application is confirmed by a professional.
  • Dry ice can remove loose rust, surface oxidation, and weakly bonded paint, but it is not suitable for deep pitting rust, white-metal finishing, or strongly bonded coatings.

How It Works

How It Works

HTS705 uses compressed air, low-temperature dry ice, particle impact, and rapid sublimation to help separate contaminants from the surface without creating secondary blasting media waste.

Impact

Compressed air accelerates dry ice particles through the nozzle at high speed so they impact the cleaning surface and loosen contaminants.

Cold Shock

Dry ice is about -78.5°C. The thermal shock can make carbon deposits and attached dirt more brittle, helping break the bond between contaminant and substrate.

Expansion

Dry ice sublimates rapidly on impact. The solid CO₂ expands into gas, creating a micro-expansion effect that helps lift contaminants from the surface.

No Secondary Media Residue

Because dry ice turns into CO₂ gas, the process leaves no blasting media residue, reducing additional cleanup compared with many abrasive methods.

How To Choose

How To Choose

Dry ice cleaning is a physical cleaning process that can reduce disassembly, chemical residue, secondary waste, and abrasive media cleanup when used on suitable surfaces under proper conditions.

Less Disassembly

Many automotive cleaning tasks can be completed with little or no disassembly, helping reduce downtime in workshop environments.

No Chemical Solvent

Compared with chemical cleaning, dry ice blasting helps avoid chemical residue and reduces the need for solvent handling.

Less Abrasive Than Walnut Media

Unlike abrasive media such as walnut shell, dry ice does not leave solid blasting media behind and is gentler on suitable components.

Physical Carbon Removal

Dry ice cleaning removes carbon deposits through impact, cold shock, and sublimation instead of relying on combustion or chemical reaction.

Applications

Applications

HTS705 is especially suitable for automotive repair and carbon deposit cleaning. It can also support selected industrial cleaning applications when air supply, dry ice supply, and surface suitability are confirmed.

Automotive Carbon Cleaning

Engine bay, cylinder combustion chamber, intake valve, throttle body, engine component, wheel hub, and underbody cleaning under suitable conditions.

Workshop Efficiency

Useful for repair shops that need to reduce cleaning time, minimize disassembly, and clean carbon deposits with dry, non-chemical blasting.

Industrial Surface Cleaning

Dry ice blasting can be used in automobiles, electric power, rubber, plastic, chemical, printing, food, pharmaceutical, casting, ship, and aviation fields.

Surface Suitability Check

Always confirm the material, coating, adhesion strength, temperature sensitivity, and cleaning goal before applying dry ice blasting to delicate components.
