Product Overview
The AUTOOL AST603 Brake Fluid Change Machine is a pulsating brake fluid bleeder designed for efficient brake oil replacement on vehicles. It uses pulsating oil change technology to send pulse signals at regular intervals, applying high-frequency pressure to brake fluid pipelines. This helps solve air-removal issues during brake fluid replacement, helps remove dirt and impurities attached to the inner pipe walls, saves service time, and improves workshop efficiency.
AST603 combines pulse pressure exchange, one-person operation, air-free filling, liquid-level protection, corrosion-resistant hoses, and detailed control design for efficient brake fluid replacement.
Pulse One-Button Replacement
Only one person is needed to operate the machine. After the working environment is set, the process can run automatically, making brake fluid replacement easier and less labor-intensive.
Pulsating Brake Fluid Exchange
High-frequency pulse pressure pushes new brake fluid through the brake line while helping remove old oil, dirt, and impurities attached to the pipeline inner walls.
Air-Free Filling
Before first use, bleed the device and fill the internal tube with brake fluid to reduce the risk of air entering the braking system during replacement.
Intelligent Liquid Level Monitoring
When the new fluid container runs out of brake fluid during filling, the built-in monitoring device automatically stops to help prevent air from entering the brake pipelines.
Corrosion-Resistant Oil Hoses
The hoses use special materials with strong corrosion resistance, helping maintain long-term durability against brake fluid and other chemical substances.
Detailed Control Design
Pressure gauge display, metal hose fittings, pressure adjustment knob, indicator light, aviation power plug, safety device, and screw-column quick connector improve control and usability.

AST603 delivers brake fluid from the new oil container to the vehicle brake fluid reservoir at a set pressure, then the used brake fluid is drained from the wheel brake calipers in the correct sequence until fresh fluid flows out.
New Fluid Delivery
Brake fluid is pumped from the new fluid container and delivered to the vehicle brake fluid reservoir at a specified pressure.
Used Fluid Recovery
Drain the used brake fluid from each wheel brake caliper in the prescribed sequence until the new brake fluid flows out.
Pressure Protection
The built-in pressure monitoring device detects pressure levels. If pressure cannot be generated or the pump draws in air, it automatically shuts off to prevent air from entering the vehicle brake fluid reservoir.
How To Use
Follow the correct setup, pressure-building, bleeding, and shutdown sequence. The shutdown sequence is especially important because turning off the machine before tightening the caliper screw may allow air to enter the system.
1. Bleed The Device First
Before using the device, bleed the machine first. The oil reservoir on the vehicle must be filled to the maximum level.
2. Connect The Adapter
Find a suitable adapter and connect it to the vehicle brake fluid reservoir.
3. Build Initial Pressure
Press and hold the start button for 5-6 seconds to build pressure. Once pressure reaches above 0.6 bar, release the button.
4. Adjust Working Pressure
Adjust the working pressure. The source operation guide usually recommends adjusting pressure to about 2 bar.
5. Open The Caliper Screw
After turning on the machine and adjusting pressure, loosen the wheel cylinder / brake caliper screw to start draining old brake fluid.
6. Check Old Oil Drainage
Check the layering and color of the fluid in the waste oil bottle. The darker layer is the old oil.
7. Use The Correct Shutdown Sequence
After replacement is complete, tighten the wheel cylinder / brake caliper screw first, then turn off the machine. This prevents air from entering the system.
- During replacement, check whether the new oil bottle still contains new brake fluid.
- The device will not always stop immediately when the bottle runs out of oil; if it continues adding fluid with no new oil, air may enter the system.
- The low-oil shutdown function helps protect against completely draining oil from the vehicle, but operators should still monitor the new oil bottle.
- If you encounter an electronic power brake pump, it is recommended to use the AST603 together with a diagnostic computer.
- Contact support directly if the brake system setup, adapter selection, or operating sequence is unclear.

Questions And Answers
These answers cover one-person operation, pressure setup, first-use bleeding, old-fluid confirmation, shutdown sequence, oil bottle monitoring, electronic power brake pumps, AST603 / AST605 differences, and adapter selection.
No. AST603 supports one-person operation and does not require repeated manual brake pedal pressing during normal brake fluid replacement.
The operation guide recommends building pressure above 0.6 bar first, then usually adjusting the working pressure to about 2 bar. The AST603 working pressure range is 0.5-2.5 bar.
The device must be bled before first use so the internal machine tubing is filled with brake fluid. This helps prevent air from entering the braking system during fluid replacement.
Check the layering and color of the fluid in the waste oil bottle. The darker layer is usually the old brake fluid.
After completing the brake fluid replacement, tighten the wheel cylinder / brake caliper screw first, then turn off the machine. This sequence is important because turning off the machine first may allow air to enter the system.
Monitor the new oil bottle during operation. If the bottle runs out but the machine continues adding fluid, air may enter the system. The low-oil shutdown function helps, but operators should still check the new oil level during the process.
When working with an electronic power brake pump, it is recommended to use the AST603 together with a diagnostic computer.
AST605 includes two more compatible connectors than AST603, while the other core parameters remain similar.
Buy the 17-piece brake fluid changer adapter set if the default AST603 adapter does not fit your target vehicle, or if your workshop needs broader compatibility for more vehicle brands.
