Frequently asked questions

Questions And Answers

These answers cover CT200 injector compatibility, cleaning fluid, test fluid, diesel and GDI limitations, plugs, parameter setup, model comparison, operation, accessories, and warranty support.

What Injectors Can AUTOOL CT200 Clean And Test?

CT200 is designed to clean and test standard 12V gasoline fuel injectors. It supports 6-cylinder testing and helps simulate idle, medium speed, high speed, acceleration, shifting, leakage, spray-pattern, and reverse flushing conditions.

Can CT200 Test GDI Or High-Pressure Injectors?

No. CT200 only supports 12V standard fuel injectors for testing. For GDI high-pressure injectors, compare CT400, CT450, CT500, FN606, and FN608 by supported injector type and test features.

Can Diesel Injectors Be Cleaned And Tested With AUTOOL CT Series Products?

AUTOOL CT series products can clean diesel injectors, but they cannot test diesel injectors. Use CT200 only within its supported testing range.

How Should I Choose Ultrasonic Cleaning Fluid?

For ultrasonic cleaning, use professional engine carbon cleaning fluid or professional automotive injector ultrasonic cleaning fluid. It helps remove deposits such as carbon buildup from injectors. If professional cleaning fluid is not available locally, 75%+ medical alcohol may be used as a substitute, but the cleaning effect may vary.

How Should I Choose Injector Test Fluid?

For consistent test results, use professional automotive injector test fluid. Test fluid is a colorless, odorless, non-corrosive liquid used to assess injector performance and simulate working states. If professional test fluid is not available locally, 75%+ medical alcohol can be used as a temporary alternative.

Why Must I Add Cleaning Fluid Before Ultrasonic Cleaning?

The ultrasonic tank must contain the proper cleaning fluid before the ultrasonic cleaning function is started. Do not run the ultrasonic system dry or with unapproved fluid; doing so may damage the system.

Why Does CT200 Come With Five Plugs?

When testing a single injector, plug the other five unused test positions. CT200 comes with five plugs for single-injector testing or partial injector testing.

How Do I Set CT200 Test Parameters?

You do not need special settings for normal operation. Select the feature number and set the test time through the control panel. Select a test mode and set the test time on the control panel.

What Is The Difference Between CT200 And CT400?

CT200 only supports 12V standard fuel injectors. CT400 supports both 12V standard injectors and GDI injectors, making it compatible with a wider range of injector types and vehicles. CT200 does not have dedicated accessory storage, while CT400 has a drawer for injector adapters and other accessories.

What Is The Difference Among CT150, CT160, And CT200?

CT150 and CT160 are designed for cleaning and testing fuel injectors of 4-cylinder gasoline engines. CT160 has an ultrasonic heating function, while CT150 does not.
