PT635 is designed for automotive fuel system pressure checks. Review the application range, adapter requirements, battery power, and safety checks before use.
Automotive Fuel System Focus
Use PT635 for automotive fuel pressure and fuel temperature checks. It is not the model for cylinder, engine oil, transmission, or brake pressure testing.
Not For GDI High-Pressure Testing
For gasoline direct injection high-pressure fuel pump testing, compare PT640 instead. PT635 is for standard automotive fuel system pressure checks.
Choose The Correct Adapter
Select the connector that matches the vehicle fuel line interface before connecting the measuring probe.
Zero Before Testing
Reset the pressure value to zero before measurement so the pressure reading starts from the correct baseline.
AAA Battery Powered
The gauge uses 6V power from four 1.5V AAA batteries. Install batteries with the correct polarity before operation.
Fuel System Safety
Follow the vehicle fuel system service procedure before disconnecting fuel lines. Check each connection for tightness and leakage before starting the engine.
Important Use Reminders
- Do not overload the gauge. The manual lists 40 bar as overload pressure.
- Use PT635 only with compatible fuel system adapters and secure hose connections.
- Avoid contact with corrosive liquids and store the tool in a dry place when not in use.
- The device can automatically power off after 5 minutes of inactivity when no pressure is applied.

Questions And Answers
These answers cover PT635 application range, PT630 / PT640 selection, pressure units, fuel temperature detection, data functions, batteries, adapter use, operation steps, maintenance, and warranty support.
AUTOOL PT635 is used for automotive fuel system pressure checks and fuel temperature monitoring. It is suitable for users who need to read real-time pressure, maximum pressure, minimum pressure, average pressure, fuel temperature, and measurement time on one digital display.
Both PT630 and PT635 are for automotive fuel system pressure checks. PT635 is the higher-end option, with broader adapter coverage shown as 31 types in the comparison chart and added fuel temperature monitoring, making it better for users who want more complete fuel system checking capability.
PT635 is for standard automotive fuel system pressure checks. If you need to test gasoline direct injection high-pressure fuel pump pressure, compare PT640 instead, because PT640 is the GDI fuel pressure gauge with a much higher pressure range.
PT635 displays pressure in PSI, bar, and kg/cm². The product image lists 0-426.6 psi, 0-30 kg/cm², and 0-29.4 bar, while the manual technical specification lists a 0-30 bar range. The display resolution is 0.01.
Yes. PT635 supports fuel temperature display, and temperature units can be switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit. This helps users observe pressure and temperature changes during fuel system checks.
The 2.8-inch display can show current pressure, pressure units, current maximum pressure, current minimum pressure, current average pressure, current temperature, temperature unit, and current measurement time.
PT635 supports data lock, interface lock, data clearing, and record-related display functions. Based on the model comparison chart, PT635 should not be treated as a long-term multi-set data logger. Use the lock and clear functions for reading and managing current measurement data.
PT635 uses 6V operating voltage from four 1.5V AAA batteries. Open the battery cover on the back of the device, insert the batteries with the correct polarity, and close the cover securely before use.
Long press the power button for more than 2 seconds to start the instrument. Before testing, long press the zero function so the real-time pressure display returns to zero.
Disconnect the engine fuel pipeline interface, connect the correct vehicle adapter to the measuring probe, reset pressure to zero, connect the measuring probe to the engine, start the engine, then read the measured pressure on the gauge.
Refer to the Packing List image for the final package contents. The image shows the PT635 main unit, carrying case, product box, user manual, measuring probe, fuel hoses, adapters, connectors, and related accessories.
Regularly check parts that need tightening and connection. If anything is loose, tighten it in time. Avoid contact with corrosive liquids, do not store the tool in hot, humid, or non-ventilated places, and keep the product dry when not in use.
Yes. The manual notes that the device can automatically power off after 5 minutes of inactivity when no pressure is being applied. After measurement, it can also be shut down by long pressing the power button for about 2 seconds under atmospheric pressure.
AUTOOL provides a 3-year warranty for the main unit under eligible warranty conditions. The manual states that included accessories are covered by a one-year warranty. For non-human damage cases, contact support with details, photos, or video for confirmation.
