For over 20 years, I’ve maintained my own cars. During tune – ups, I’d often replace spark plugs without checking if they were still good. I’m looking forward to this tester helping me cut down on plug costs.
The tester is simple to operate. You just insert the plugs, close the cover, connect the power, and switch it on. The engine speed simulation feature is great for finding low – RPM misfires. Plus, I can tell if a used plug is still okay by comparing its spark to a new one’s.
All in all, it’s a handy addition to my workshop. The only downside is it can’t test the small spark plugs in 2 – cycle lawn equipment engines.
