Checklist
Autool C100 usage scope
Autool C100 supports fuel, intake and TWC cleaning#
The Autool C100 is used for fuel system cleaning, intake system cleaning, and TWC cleaning. The article focuses on how it works and how to connect it correctly for different fuel-system layouts.
Throttle style
For throttle-style systems, adjust air-source pressure to 1-5 PSI#
For the throttle style system, the connection method is the same. Adjust the pressure of the air source to 1-5 PSI.
How to identify the inlet and return hose
- Generally speaking, the inlet hose is bigger, and the return hose is smaller.
- There is always a filter connected on the inlet hose side and a buffer on the return side.
- There is an arrow on the hose to show the fuel flow direction.
EFI cleaning operation
Follow the seven EFI model steps in order#
- Find the fuel return hose, disconnect it, and plug it with a suitable adaptor.
- Find the fuel inlet hose, disconnect it, and connect it with the outlet hose of the cleaner using the proper adaptor.
- Connect the outlet and return hose of the fuel tank, and open the tank cover. If there is no return hose, remove the fuse of the fuel pump so that the pump will not work.
- Charge the cleaning fluid into the tank of the cleaner.
- Connect the air source power to the air port of the cleaner and adjust its pressure to 40-50 PSI.
- Check all connection points to make sure there is no leakage.
- Start the engine to clean the fuel system.

Autool C100 cleaning depends on correct hose identification and pressure setup#
The key steps are to identify the inlet and return hoses, connect the cleaner properly, set the correct pressure, check for leaks, and start the engine for cleaning. Throttle-style systems use 1-5 PSI air-source pressure, while the EFI model process uses 40-50 PSI after cleaning fluid is charged into the cleaner tank.
