Service Workflow
Connect at the Specified Transmission Port
Remove The Main Oil Pressure Plug
Remove the main oil pressure plug on the automatic transmission housing according to the vehicle service procedure.
Connect The Adapter
Select the adapter that matches the vehicle model and connect it to the measuring probe.
Zero The Pressure
Reset the pressure value to zero before testing to help keep the reading reliable.
Connect To The Transmission
Connect the measuring probe to the transmission pressure test point securely.
Start And Shift
Start the engine and perform gear shifting as required by the vehicle test process.
Read The Pressure
The pressure gauge displays measured pressure and related readings for diagnosis.
Transmission Test Connection
Select the appropriate transmission pressure adapter, zero the gauge and connect the hose before starting measurement. Follow the operating procedure to read and record transmission pressure.
Safe Use
Control Hot ATF and Hose Placement
Use Four AAA Batteries
PT650 uses four AAA batteries and 6V operating voltage. Install batteries with correct polarity and close the battery cover securely.
Zero Before Testing
Perform pressure zero setting before measurement. The real-time pressure should display as 0 before testing begins.
Do Not Overload
The manual lists 40 bar overload pressure. Do not use PT650 beyond its intended pressure range or in unsuitable systems.
Use The Correct Tool
PT650 is for transmission pressure testing. Use PT610, PT620, PT630 / PT635, PT640, or PT660 for cylinder, engine oil, fuel, GDI fuel, or brake pressure systems.
Power Off Correctly
After measurement, long press the power button for 2 seconds to shut down, and do this under atmospheric pressure.
Store Dry
Check tightened and connected parts regularly, avoid corrosive liquids, and store the product in a dry, ventilated place when not in use.
Interpret the Result in Context
Use the transmission-specific port, oil-rated hose and matching adapter, then read pressure at the gear, temperature and engine-speed condition required by the service procedure.
Inspect and Maintain the Tester
Avoid rubbing the housing against rough surfaces. Maintain parts that contact chemical media to improve corrosion resistance, and replace aging wires or worn parts if they affect safe use.
