AUTOOL HTS559 walnut blasting machine for engine carbon deposit cleaning

5 Intake Adapters

Key Features

HTS559 is professional walnut shell blasting equipment built around spray-and-recovery cleaning, media and residue management, intake carbon removal, adapter coverage, external-air blasting, 0.6–1.2 mm walnut abrasive support, workshop mobility, and warranty support.

5 Intake Adapters For Different Port Shapes

Equipped with 5 adapter types for different intake-port shapes and cleaning setups. Match the adapter to the specific engine and intake-port shape before cleaning. The included adapter set fits multiple intake-port shapes, but it is not universal for every engine.

Integrated Spray And Vacuum Recovery

HTS559 uses walnut blasting for carbon cleaning while integrated vacuum recovery collects loosened residue and spent media, helping reduce manual cleanup.

Built-In Dust Filter For Collected Media And Residue

The built-in dust filter helps manage collected walnut abrasive and carbon residue during simultaneous spray-and-recovery operation. The collection and filtration system supports abrasive recovery. Reuse recovered abrasive only when the service procedure for the specific vehicle permits it and the media remains suitable for reuse.

Deep Intake Carbon Deposit Removal

Designed to remove sticky carbon deposits from the intake pipe, intake manifold, and the backs of the intake valves. Any changes in idle quality, combustion behavior, air-fuel ratio, power, or fuel economy depend on the vehicle condition and diagnosis.

External Air-Driven Blasting + 1400W Vacuum Recovery

The 1400W rated-power machine supports vacuum recovery, while an external air compressor supplies the blasting force for walnut-shell cleaning. The external compressor must provide suitable airflow and dry air for the cleaning procedure.

Walnut Shell Abrasive Cleaning

HTS559 uses 0.6–1.2 mm walnut-shell abrasive as the cleaning media. Use dry, compatible walnut-shell media, follow the supplier Safety Data Sheet (SDS), and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Walnut-shell media can create dust and may present allergen concerns.

360° Swivel Casters

360° swivel casters make the machine easier to move around the workshop.

Walnut Media Recovery & Reuse

The recovery and filtration system helps separate collected walnut-shell abrasive from carbon residue so suitable media can be reused. Under normal conditions, walnut-shell abrasive can be reused 5–10 times. Keep the media dry and replace it if it becomes contaminated, clumped, or cleaning performance drops.

3-Year Main Unit Warranty

The main unit includes a 3-year warranty, and standard accessories include a 1-year warranty. Setup and troubleshooting support are also available. See the Warranty Policy for regional coverage, eligibility, and exclusions before purchase.

Before You Start

Safety & Compatibility

Use HTS559 for supported intake-cleaning applications and follow the service procedure for the specific vehicle. Before operation, check the external air source, dry walnut abrasive, adapter seal, intake-valve position, required protective equipment, and final residual-media recovery steps.

Cleaning Scope

HTS559 is designed to clean the intake pipe, intake manifold, and the backs of the intake valves. It is not designed for fuel injectors, throttle valves, cylinders, or combustion chambers.

External Compressor Required

The external high-pressure air compressor is required and not included. Use an external compressor with air pressure up to 0.7 MPa; 6 bar or more is generally recommended. Also confirm sufficient continuous airflow and that the air tank, hose, quick-connect fittings, and duty cycle suit the blasting workflow.

Use Dry Compatible Media

Use compatible 0.6–1.2 mm walnut-shell abrasive and dry, filtered air. Walnut abrasive is not included. Moisture may cause clumping or feed instability.

Valve Closure And Port Isolation

Start blasting only after confirming that the target intake valve is fully closed. Clean one intake port at a time and isolate other intake openings as required by the service procedure for the specific vehicle.

Adapter Fit And Seal

The five adapter types support multiple intake-port shapes, but they are not universal for every vehicle. Before blasting, make sure the selected adapter fits the specific engine intake port and forms a secure seal.

Protective Equipment and Dust/Allergen Control

Wear eye and respiratory protection, provide suitable ventilation, and follow the walnut-media supplier Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Walnut-shell media can create dust and may trigger allergies, so use appropriate protective equipment and ventilation.

Walnut Abrasive Reuse

Reuse walnut abrasive only when the service procedure for the specific vehicle permits it and the recovered media remains suitable for reuse.

Chemical Cleaner Compatibility

Walnut blasting is a physical cleaning method. Chemical cleaners vary by formulation and application; follow the cleaner manufacturer and vehicle service instructions when using chemical products.

Protect The Engine From Residual Media

Use the specified walnut-shell media, air settings, and service procedure to reduce the risk of damaging cleaned surfaces. Before restarting, confirm the correct media and airflow were used, the target valve was closed, the adapter was sealed, and no residual media remains.

Final Inspection Before Restart

Before restarting the engine, vacuum out the remaining abrasive and inspect the cleaned area to make sure no visible media remains. Complete reassembly, leak checks, and diagnostic scanning as appropriate.
