The AUTOOL HTS559 walnut blasting machine is an advanced car engine carbon deposition cleaning equipment designed to deeply remove carbon deposits from the engine intake pipe, intake manifold, and intake valve backside. It helps address issues such as unstable idle speed, incomplete fuel combustion, reduced air-fuel ratio, increased fuel consumption, and engine shaking caused by carbon buildup.
With a powerful 1400W motor, 30L main unit capacity, built-in dust filter, and simultaneous spray-and-vacuum recovery design, HTS559 uses non-harmful walnut shell abrasive to remove stubborn carbon deposits while recycling reusable walnut media. An external air compressor is required to provide strong blasting impact.
HTS559 combines a 1400W motor, external compressed air, walnut shell abrasive, dust filtration, and closed-loop recovery to clean carbon deposits efficiently while reducing abrasive waste.
1400W High-Power Motor
The 1400W high-performance motor works with an external air source to create strong synchronized suction and blasting recovery, helping remove stubborn carbon quickly and thoroughly.
Deep Carbon Deposit Removal
Deeply removes sticky carbon deposits on the intake manifold and intake valve backside, helping improve unstable idling, insufficient fuel combustion, and reduced air-fuel ratio problems.
External Air Source Blasting
An external air compressor provides continuous impact force for walnut shell abrasive, ensuring stronger removal of carbon deposits from engine intake pipes and valve backsides.
Built-In Dust Filter
The machine sprays and recovers simultaneously. The filter separates walnut shell abrasive from carbon deposits so the abrasive can be reused and residual particles are better controlled.
Integrated Recovery Design
The closed-loop system recycles walnut shell abrasive through vacuum recovery, eliminating the need for manual abrasive recovery and saving time and effort.
5 Adapters And 360° Casters
Equipped with 5 adapters for different vehicle models such as Audi, BMW, GM, Mercedes-Benz, and Land Rover, plus 360° swivel casters for easier workshop movement.

HTS559 is a specialized machine for engine intake pipe and intake valve backside carbon cleaning. Review the cleaning range, abrasive size, air compressor requirement, and valve closing procedure before use.
Use Range And Safety Notes
HTS559 is designed for engine intake pipe, intake manifold, and intake valve backside carbon cleaning.
HTS559 is not designed for injector, throttle valve, or cylinder carbon cleaning. Use the corresponding injector cleaner or suitable tool for those areas.
The package does not include walnut sand or an external air compressor.
Use 0.6–1.2mm walnut shell abrasive.
Walnut shell abrasive can normally be reused 5–10 times under normal conditions.
External air compressor required: 0.7MPa / 6bar or above.
An air compressor with dryer filter is recommended to reduce moisture, walnut media clumping, and poor blasting performance.
Close the engine before cleaning.
Turn the crankshaft to close the intake valve before cleaning.
Clean one intake pipe / intake port at a time.
A 6-cylinder engine should be cleaned six times, one cylinder / intake port at a time.
Chemical cleaning agents may corrode pipes and shorten engine service life.
Walnut powder is softer than metal but harder than carbon deposits, helping clean carbon without damaging metal surfaces when used correctly.
After cleaning, blow out remaining walnut particles as much as possible before restarting the engine.
Questions And Answers
These answers cover walnut sand, carbon deposition, cleaning interval, air compressor requirements, package contents, cleaning range, closed-loop operation, abrasive safety, and model selection.
Walnut sand is made from walnut shells that are broken, screened, and classified. It is a natural walnut shell abrasive used as a polishing and cleaning medium. It has high hardness, pressure resistance, wear resistance, and a microporous surface with strong adsorption capability. It does not cause corrosion or pollution when used correctly.
Use 0.6–1.2mm walnut shell abrasive. Under normal conditions, walnut shell abrasive can typically be reused 5–10 times, making it efficient and cost-effective.
Carbon deposition forms when fuel does not burn completely. Hydrocarbon olefin residues attach to the engine intake and cylinder area, then become a hard black shell under high-temperature conditions.
Carbon deposits can decrease the air-fuel ratio, reduce engine output power, increase fuel consumption, and cause engine shaking during idle. The source content recommends cleaning carbon deposits after around every 40,000–50,000 kilometers, depending on actual vehicle condition.
Use an external air compressor with air pressure up to 0.7MPa / 6bar or above. A dryer filter is recommended to effectively prevent moisture buildup, walnut shell media clumping, and poor blasting performance.
No. The package does not include walnut sand or a high-pressure air compressor. Prepare 0.6–1.2mm walnut shell abrasive and a suitable external air compressor before use.
HTS559 is designed for intake pipe, intake manifold, and intake valve backside cleaning only. For injector, throttle valve, or cylinder carbon cleaning, choose the corresponding injector cleaner or other suitable tool.
HTS559 works in a closed loop. The intake valve is closed, walnut powder is sprayed into the engine intake through compressed air, and the machine vacuums and recycles the walnut powder at the same time. After thousands of impacts, walnut abrasive breaks down carbon deposits on the inner wall of the intake pipe and valve backside.
Walnut powder is softer than metal but harder than carbon deposits. When the correct abrasive size and workflow are used, it can remove carbon deposits from the intake pipe and intake valve backside without damaging metal surfaces.
HTS558 is the basic walnut blaster model with 1200W power and 5 adapters. HTS559 is an upgraded version with 1400W power and 30L capacity. HTS518 supports High / Low Mode and Low-Speed Mode. HTS678 has 1500W power, HEPA filter, pressure gauge, and Standard / Expert modes. HTS728 uses finer 0.4–0.6mm walnut shell abrasive and supports engine combustion chamber cleaning.
