Key Features

Front and Side Cameras with Two-Way Articulation

210° Bidirectional Articulation

The 6.5mm probe supports up to 210° two-way rotation with a 35mm bending radius, helping navigate tight and curved automotive spaces.

Dual Lens Borescope with Front and Side Views

Press and hold the M key for about 2 seconds to switch between the front and side 1280×720 lenses, which support vertical and side-view inspection. Match each lens’s viewing range separately to the target.

4.3-inch HD Display

The 4.3-inch display provides true color representation and adjustable screen brightness for clearer inspection in different lighting conditions.

8× Zoom

Use up to 8× digital zoom to enlarge captured details for review; image sharpness still depends on focus and viewing distance.

32GB Memory Card

The included 32GB memory card can store over 80,000 images and more than 40 five-minute videos for inspection records.

Over-Temperature Alert

The lens’s smart temperature sensor triggers an alarm and warning above 80°C, and the image resumes after the temperature drops.

IP67 Probe Protection

The probe is rated IP67 for water, oil, and dust resistance, suitable for wet pipe and oily inspection environments when used properly. The IP67-rated probe and flexible hose support inspection within the model’s permitted conditions. Keep the screen and main unit dry; confirm allowable liquids separately before use.

Detail Design

Rear work light, photo / video button, wear-resistant flexible metal hose, Type-C charging, and a removable 2000mAh battery improve daily use.

Eight-Language Interface

Choose English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, French, German or Portuguese.

Portable Dual-Camera Inspection

A rechargeable 2000 mAh battery powers the dual-camera SVB403 for portable inspection work.

Viewing Range

Use the front lens at 25–100 mm and the side lens at 15–60 mm, and match the probe size to the access path.

3 Years Warranty Support

Main unit: 3-year warranty. Standard accessories: 1-year warranty. Warranty Policy.

How to Use

Plan Entry, Select View, Steer, Record, and Withdraw

Step progress1 / 6
01

Define The Inspection Target

Identify the vehicle, symptom, entry point and surface you need to see. Confirm that the SVB403 probe and viewing range suit that path.

Safety & Compatibility

Confirm Camera Clearance, Working Distance, Heat, and Fluids

Match The Access Path

Guide the probe through the confirmed access path, leaving enough clearance for articulation and withdrawal.

Inspect A Cooled, Isolated Vehicle

Prevent unintended engine movement and electrical operation. Wait for components to cool to the limits in the SVB403 manual before inserting the probe; a heat alarm is a protection event, not a working-temperature rating.

Protect The Probe And Main Unit

IP67 applies to the specified probe, not the screen or handle. Confirm permitted liquids and contact conditions separately; do not infer oil, fuel or solvent compatibility from the IP rating.

Withdraw Without Force

Use the steering control to return the tip to a position that can clear the entry path. Stop if resistance is felt; follow the model manual and vehicle procedure rather than pulling harder.

Keep The Inspection Evidence

Record the entry point, component, viewing direction and any areas you could not inspect. Use the vehicle procedure and supporting tests before making a repair decision.

Use Below 75°C Recommended

The inspection camera lens is not resistant to high temperatures. For safer use and longer service life, inspect under cold conditions and use below 75°C whenever possible.

Do Not Exceed Manual Limit

Do not place the probe in an environment above 85°C. High-temperature damage is considered abnormal damage and is not covered by free warranty.

Cool Engine Before Inspection

When an engine has just stopped, its temperature can reach 80°C to 100°C or higher. It is recommended to wait 1-2 hours for the engine to cool down.

IP67 Probe, Not Full Device Immersion

The probe / lens area is IP67-rated for water, oil, and dust resistance, but the host should not be soaked or exposed to water, oil, or corrosive liquids for long periods.

Compare Front and Side Views of the Same Area

Record Visible Conditions

Record visible deposits, marks, liquid, or foreign material together with the component and inspection location.

Recheck Focus, Light And Direction

If the image is unclear, adjust target distance and brightness, clean the lens as instructed and compare another viewing angle. A reflection or shadow can resemble a defect.

Document the Inspected Area

Save the original image or video with the component, viewing direction, and area inspected.

Choose The Next Test

Use OEM reference images and the applicable diagnostic procedure. Compression, leak-down, other measurements or disassembly may still be required when the picture is inconclusive.

FAQs

Dual-Camera Fit and Viewing Questions

What Is The Difference Between SVB403, SVB405, And SVB408?
  • SVB403 supports 210° two-way rotation and uses two lenses: a front lens and a side lens.
  • SVB405 and SVB408 support 360° four-way rotation and use one lens.
  • SVB405 has a 2-megapixel camera, while SVB403 and SVB408 have 1-megapixel cameras.
  • SVB403 has a 4.3-inch screen, while SVB405 and SVB408 have 4.5-inch screens.
  • SVB403 uses a 6.5mm lens, SVB405 uses a 6.45mm lens, and SVB408 uses a 3.9mm ultra-thin lens.
  • SVB405 and SVB408 have 8× zoom, while SVB403 is positioned around dual-lens front / side inspection.
Does SVB403 Have Two Lenses?

Yes. SVB403 has two lenses: a front lens and a side lens. This makes it easier to inspect both forward-facing and side-facing areas without repeatedly adjusting the probe angle.

What Temperature Is Safe For SVB403?

Use SVB403 after the engine has cooled down. It is recommended to inspect below 75°C. The device triggers an over-temperature warning above 80°C, and the manual limit for the probe should not exceed 85°C. High-temperature damage is considered abnormal damage and is not covered by free warranty.

Is SVB403 Waterproof?

The probe / lens area is IP67-rated for water, oil, and dust resistance, making it suitable for wet pipes and oily inspection conditions. However, the host should not be immersed, and the device should not be exposed to water, oil, or corrosive liquids for long periods.

  • IP67 is stated for the camera probe, not the display, handle or connected device. Keep the main unit dry, and confirm the permitted liquid, contact time and cleaning method; IP67 alone does not establish oil, fuel, coolant or solvent compatibility.
How Do I Switch Between The Front Lens And Side Lens?

Press and hold the M key for about 2 seconds to switch between the front lens and side lens.

What Is The Difference Between SVB305 And SVB308?

SVB305 supports 210° two-way rotation, while SVB308 supports 360° four-way rotation. SVB305 has a 2000mAh lithium battery, while SVB308 has a 2600mAh lithium battery. SVB308 also adds a magnetic and detachable design, allowing the bottom to attach to magnetic surfaces and the screen / handle to detach for easier storage.

What Is The Difference Between SVB302 And SVB303?

Compare the display, probe diameter, articulation, resolution, storage, and device requirements for each SVB model; choose the model whose dimensions and viewing path fit the inspection point.

Can a picture confirm the cause of an engine fault?

Use the saved image to document the inspected location, compare visible conditions with service information, and plan the next check.

What should I check before choosing this probe?

Confirm the entry diameter, tip and cable path, turning space, target distance, temperature, likely liquid contact and whether you need front or side views. For connected models, also confirm your device, cable and software.

The camera is very flexible and can be customized to be longer.

The camera is very flexible and can be customized to be longer. I customized a 1.5m camera, which is very easy to use. I used it to film an engine cylinder. It was easy to operate and the image was very clear. I could see every detail of the engine cylinder.

I have always wanted an endoscope that is more flexible and comprehensive.

I have always wanted an endoscope that is more flexible and comprehensive. The other brands I have purchased in the past were not very flexible. The design of the AUTOOL403 is very thoughtful. I can use it to view many hard-to-reach areas. While other angles may also be visible, using them is tiring, as I have to constantly adjust the angle. This is particularly inconvenient for someone like me who suffers from multiple rheumatic bone pains. With the SVB403, I only need to continuously rotate the handle to achieve highly flexible viewing. This is a truly useful design for me!
