The machine rating is not permission to apply its maximum to every vehicle system. Use the OEM or component procedure and the lowest appropriate controlled setting.
Confirm Air and Power
Connect SML310 to a stable DC 12 V / 5 A supply. Its built-in pump provides airflow; do not connect shop air to an unspecified port.
Protect People and Components
Work in a dry, well-ventilated area away from flame and hot sources; use eye and hand protection and avoid directing smoke at smoke-sensitive or precision electronic parts.
Inspect Hoses and Adapters

What air source does SML310 use?
It has a built-in air pump, so normal testing does not require a separate shop-air compressor.
Can I use the maximum pressure on an EVAP system?
Do not assume so. Choose pressure from the vehicle procedure; machine capacity and EVAP-safe pressure are different facts.
What Does Air Mode Tell Me?
Use Air Mode to observe pressure-gauge behavior under the selected sealed setup. Compare the reading with the vehicle or component limit, then inspect the suspected leak area when the reading changes.
