FAQs
R134a Service and Maintenance Questions
Which refrigerant does LM806 support?
R134a only. Do not connect LM806 to R1234yf, mixed, unidentified, or another refrigerant.
Does LM806 identify the refrigerant?
No. LM806 has no built-in refrigerant identifier; use the shop’s approved identification and isolation procedure before connection.
What does automatic mean?
It runs configured service steps after the technician confirms refrigerant, connects the vehicle and enters verified values; stay with the machine.
What does pipeline flushing do?
It circulates refrigerant through permitted A/C lines as part of a non-disassembly line-cleaning procedure. Follow the manual and OEM rules for components that must be removed, bypassed or replaced.
What do the four electronic scales monitor?
They monitor the R134a working tank, PAG oil, POE oil, and used oil; the listed ±10 g and ±5 g values are scale specifications rather than a whole-machine accuracy guarantee.
Can I rely only on the vehicle database?
No. The editable vehicle database covers 61 brands, but verify the installed database version against the vehicle label and OEM information before charging.
How fast are recovery and charging?
Rated recovery speed is above 350 g/min and rated charging speed is above 800 g/min. Actual job time varies with charge size, temperature, pressure, vehicle condition and selected procedure.
Can contaminated refrigerant enter the machine?
No. Isolate it and follow the shop’s approved contaminated-refrigerant procedure.
Can LM806 service hybrid and electric vehicles?
Yes, for compatible gasoline, hybrid, and electric vehicles using R134a, the specified OEM oil, and the vehicle’s high-voltage safety procedure.
Does LM806 diagnose every A/C fault?
No. LM806 supports recovery, evacuation, vacuum-hold checking, charging, flushing, and pressure review; poor cooling or abnormal pressure can require separate electrical, mechanical, temperature, or leak diagnosis.
Which power supply is required?
The selected regional version and unit nameplate control; do not assume one unit supports both 110 and 220 V.
When are the filter and vacuum-pump oil serviced?
Replace the drying filter when the machine shows the service-life prompt. Replace vacuum-pump oil after 600 operating minutes or earlier if it is visibly degraded.
What does recovery, recycling and recharging (RRR) mean here?
RRR stands for recover, recycle and recharge. An RRR machine brings those refrigerant-service functions together with system evacuation in one workflow. For R134a service, LM806 filters recovered refrigerant into the working tank and adds the required oil and refrigerant charge. Reuse depends on refrigerant condition, your shop procedures and local rules.
Is LM806 fully automatic?
LM806 can automatically run a configured service sequence after you connect the vehicle, confirm R134a, enter the service parameters and check fluid levels. Stay with the machine during operation and verify the final result.
How do I choose PAG or POE oil?
Follow the vehicle label and OEM service information. Do not choose oil from vehicle type alone, and flush the relevant machine line when the manual requires an oil-type change.
Can contaminated refrigerant be recovered into LM806?
Do not route contaminated refrigerant into the LM806 working tank. Isolate the vehicle and follow your shop’s approved contaminated-refrigerant procedure.
What power supply does LM806 require?
Power supply varies by regional version. Confirm the selected version and unit nameplate before use; do not assume one machine automatically supports both 110V and 220V.
