Before You Order And Use
Check the instrument range, hose pressure rating, tested equipment rating, working environment, and personal protection requirements before connecting the LM150 digital manifold pressure tester.
Gauge Pressure Reading
Pressure measured by the LM150 digital manifold pressure tester is gauge pressure. Confirm the pressure type required by the system before interpreting readings.
Instrument Test Range
The pressure test range is -101kPa to 6MPa, equal to about -0.1bar to 60bar. Do not use it beyond the measuring range of the instrument.
Maximum Pressure Limit
The instrument maximum pressure / overload limit is 10MPa, equal to 100bar. This limit is not the same as the normal working range.
Standard Hose Limit
The standard hose maximum working pressure is 600PSI, approximately 4.13MPa / 41.3bar. The hose burst pressure is 3000PSI, approximately 20.68MPa / 206.8bar.
Check The Tested Device
Check the rated pressure of the equipment under test before connecting. If the included hose does not meet your pressure requirement, use a suitable replacement hose for testing.
Work Safely
Wear approved protective equipment and use the LM150 in a well-ventilated environment to help avoid exposure to toxic gases during refrigerant service.
Safety And Storage Notes
- Do not use or store the device in high temperature, high humidity, flammable, explosive, or strong electromagnetic field environments.
- Do not modify the internal circuit. Unauthorized modification may damage the instrument or create hazards.
- Inspect pipe fittings, hoses, hose terminals, and valve stems before testing. Replace damaged parts before use.
- Do not remove the high-pressure valve connection until the pressure drops to a safe point.
- Different equipment and refrigerants may require different filling procedures. Follow the refrigeration system service requirements before charging.

How To Use
LM150 supports refrigerant filling and pressure inspection, vacuum operation, and pressure leak testing. Use the manual and the specific refrigeration system procedure before service.
Refrigerant Filling & Pressure Inspection
Turn off the blue and red valves, power on the instrument, select pressure test status, connect according to the system direction, vent air through the pressure release valve, then fill through the correct valve according to system conditions.
Vacuum Operation
Turn off the blue and red valves, power on the instrument, switch to vacuum test mode, select the reading unit, zero the pressure display if needed, connect the system, then run the vacuum pump and close valves after vacuuming.
Pressure Leak Test
With the blue and red valves turned off, power on the instrument and switch to pressure leak test mode. The display records initial pressure, instant pressure, ΔP pressure difference, and test time.
Temperature Probe Reading
Connect the wired clamp-on probes to the T1 and T2 sockets and make sure they fully contact the refrigeration pipes. The LCD can display real-time temperature data when probes are connected.
Use Notes
- When the instrument is turned on, if the high and low pressure display area shows non-zero digits, press and hold the Zero button until it returns to zero.
- For refrigerant filling, do not remove the high-pressure valve connection until the pressure drops to a safe point.
- The filling operation of different equipment or refrigerants may vary. Read the specific service requirements to avoid user injury or equipment damage.
- The manual describes SH / SC display when the tested refrigerant is preset and clamp-on probes are connected. If subcooling / superheat is a required workflow, confirm model suitability before ordering.

Questions And Answers
These answers cover LM150 use cases, pressure range, hose limits, refrigerant database, battery, temperature clamps, model differences, safety checks, and common troubleshooting items.
LM150 is a digital manifold pressure tester for HVAC installation, refrigeration equipment testing and maintenance, automotive A/C service, air conditioners, and cold storage systems. It supports dual pressure testing, dual temperature testing, refrigerant service, vacuum measurement, and pressure leak testing.
The LM150 pressure reading is gauge pressure. Confirm whether the system procedure requires gauge pressure or another pressure reference before interpreting test data.
The overall pressure and vacuum coverage is -101kPa to 6MPa, approximately -0.1bar to 60bar. The pressure test range is 0kPa to 6000kPa, and the vacuum test range is -101kPa to 0kPa. Do not use it beyond the measuring range of the instrument.
The maximum working pressure of the standard hose is 600PSI, approximately 4.13MPa / 41.3bar. The hose burst pressure is 3000PSI, approximately 20.68MPa / 206.8bar. If the included hose does not meet your pressure requirement, use a suitable replacement hose.
LM150 includes a built-in 93-refrigerant NIST-standard database. The refrigerant image and comparison chart should be checked if you need a specific refrigerant confirmed before ordering.
LM150 uses 4 × 1.5V AA / LR6 batteries. If the low-power sign appears, replace the batteries as required to avoid affecting normal use.
Yes. The LM150 packing list image shows two wired clip-on temperature probe clamps. Connect them to the T1 and T2 sockets and make sure they fully contact the refrigeration pipes for real-time temperature readings.
Check the rated pressure of the tested equipment, confirm that the system does not exceed the instrument range, inspect pipe fittings and hoses, replace damaged parts immediately, wear approved protective equipment, and work in a well-ventilated area.
The refrigeration system inlet has a valve core. When connecting hoses, pay attention to both hose terminals: connect the terminal with a core to the refrigeration system and the terminal without a core to the instrument.
Check hose terminals, nylon pads, pipe fittings, hoses, valve stems, and refrigeration system pipes and connectors. Hose terminal nylon pads have a limited service life, and overuse or damage may cause leakage. Tighten the copper plug screw on the middle refrigerant inlet before or after operation as required.
LM150 supports vacuuming mode, refrigerant mode, pressure leak testing, 93 refrigerants, high/low pressure valves, two wired temperature clamps, foldable hook, and refrigerant visible window. LM160 is the higher-end smart model with program control system, 8 languages, 95 refrigerants, and two-side handrails. Choose LM160 if program control is required.
