What Air Compressor Does HTS705 Need?
HTS705 requires an external air compressor, which is not included. It is recommended to use at least a 90 PSI / 6 bar class air source. For stable operation, use a 1.5 m³/min compressor with a 300 L air tank. If the cleaning effect is weak, first check whether the air pressure and airflow are sufficient and whether the air supply pipe is too thin, too long, or causing pressure loss.

What Is The Difference Between HTS705, HTS708, And HTS709?
HTS705 is the basic portable model with 5kg dry ice capacity, single pressure gauge, and compact body. HTS708 increases capacity to 7.5kg and is better for daily professional workshop use. HTS709 also has 7.5kg capacity but adds dual pressure gauges and more advanced control for complex or precision cleaning tasks.
Why Choose Dry Ice Instead Of Chemical Cleaning Or Walnut Blasting?
Dry ice cleaning is a physical cleaning process. It does not require chemical solvents, does not leave walnut shell media behind, and can reduce disassembly in suitable applications. Compared with abrasive media, dry ice is less abrasive on suitable components, but it also has limits for strong coatings, deep rust, or surfaces that require abrasive finishing.
Why Is The Cleaning Effect Limited?
- Air supply: Use at least 6 bar working pressure and 1 m³/min flow.
- Delivery path: Check for a thin or long hose and restrictive quick connectors; these can cause pressure loss. If permitted by the workshop setup, connect to the main air line.
What Should I Do If The Dry Ice Pipe Has Air But No Ice Output?
This may be internal ice blockage caused by intermittent use or immediate shutdown while residual dry ice remains in the outlet pipe. First adjust the ice discharge volume to 0, turn on the spray gun switch, and keep the machine running for about 3 minutes. Then adjust ice discharge volume to about 20%-30% and check whether ice output recovers.
What If Ice Is Blocked In The Hopper?
Stop operation and open the cover plate to check whether there is too much dry ice. If there is too much, remove part of the dry ice and continue. Check whether the vibration pump works. When dry ice is filled into the funnel, it may instantly cool the air and form condensed caking; the steel bar at the center of the funnel may need to be moved up and down manually.
What If The Dry Ice Pipe Leaks Ice Or Air?
Check whether the compressed air supplied to the dry ice blaster is free of oil and water. If the dry ice pipe has been used for a long time, dry ice may wear and thin the internal pipe wall. Contact AUTOOL support if the pipe may need replacement.
