Understanding the Update Types
Use both the update type and version status to decide which file applies to your product.
Vehicle Database UpdateThe XC503, XC505, and XC508 files are successive versions of the same wheel-aligner vehicle database. They are not device-software updates.
Device Software UpdateUpdates software used by the named AUTOOL device. Match the exact model and hardware generation.
PC Upgrade ToolProvides a computer-based upgrade method when the product’s wireless upgrade connection is unsuitable.
Latest vs. Previous VersionUse the latest XC database version unless AUTOOL Support or your product instructions require the previous version.
