開始開發
Install a 9V dry battery if needed, then press the Power button to turn the meter on or off.

The meter starts in DC current mode. Press the Zero/Backlight button to zero first, then clamp the wire. For AC current, the meter can auto-zero; for AC current below 25mA, long press the Power button to switch manually.

Clamp The Correct Wire
Clamp the positive and negative DC wires together for DC leakage-current checks, or the live and neutral AC wires together for AC leakage-current checks. Clamp the ground wire alone for ground leakage current, or the main wire alone for the corresponding current measurement.

Read, Hold, Or Store Data
Read the current value on the LCD. Press Hold/Mem/Mr to hold and store data automatically; long press Hold/Mem/Mr to review stored data.

Diagnose Quiescent Current
Turn off all appliances and set the key to the off position. If quiescent current is too high, pull fuses one by one. A clear current drop after one fuse is removed indicates the corresponding circuit should be checked.

What Should I Do If Quiescent Current Is Too High?
If tested quiescent current is 100mA or above after the vehicle reaches the sleep state specified by its diagnostic procedure, electrical leakage may exist. Open the fuse box and pull fuses one by one. If the current drops clearly after one fuse is removed, check the corresponding circuit or appliance, repair the issue, and test again.
Can BT270 Replace A Power Probe Circuit Tester?
No. BT270 is mainly for clamp-on current measurement and leakage-current diagnosis. If you need polarity testing, continuity testing, jumper lead operation, component activation, relay testing, diode testing, or power-probe functions, compare BT160, BT210, BT250, BT260, and BT280 before ordering.
What Power Supply Does BT270 Use?
BT270 uses a 9V dry battery. Replace the battery promptly when the low-battery symbol appears, because low battery can affect measurement accuracy. Remove the battery if the meter will not be used for a long time.
