Control an EPB Motor for Recovery or Service
Temporarily release or engage a confirmed EPB motor for recovery, vehicle movement, or rear-brake service with the AUTOOL BT10. Bidirectional rocker control drives the motor, while an approximately one-second output stop, overcurrent control, reverse-polarity protection, and a replaceable fuse manage the direct-service circuit.

Release And Braking Control
Use the rocker switch to drive the connected EPB motor in either direction for temporary release or re-engagement after movement or service.
Temporary Emergency Release
If an EPB will not release because of a sensor, control-module, wiring, power, or related system fault, BT10 can directly actuate the motor so a trained operator can temporarily disengage the brake for repair, rescue, or controlled vehicle movement.
One-Second Output Limit
BT10 limits each apply or release command to about one second; use the correct terminal, direction, and vehicle procedure.
Layered Circuit Protection
The BT10 includes reverse-polarity protection, a power-on self-check with green status indication, overcurrent control, and a replaceable 5 A fast-blow fuse. Working current: below 15 A. This is not the replacement fuse rating; do not uprate the fuse.
Direct EPB Terminal Workflow
Operate BT10 from a 10–14 V DC service battery through its clamps, then connect the output interface to the confirmed vehicle-side EPB drive terminals before using the rocker switch.

Inspect The Setup
Prepare a fully charged service battery, confirm a 10–14 V DC supply, inspect the built-in fuse, and verify the delivered fuse rating and the page-listed <15 A current field against the exact unit and manual before identifying the correct EPB motor terminals.
Connect Service Power
Connect the red clamp to the positive terminal and the black clamp to the negative terminal. When power is normal, the indicator turns on.
Connect The EPB Motor
With the vehicle secured, connect the EPB terminal interface to the confirmed vehicle-side electronic parking-brake drive terminals before operating the rocker switch.
Pulse Release Or Brake
Use the rocker switch to select braking or release while observing caliper response, then release the switch promptly when the caliper reaches its end position to avoid unnecessary drive force.
