Control Pulsating Service with Visible Pressure
AUTOOL AST605 supports one-person pulsating brake-fluid service with a visible pressure gauge and front adjustment knob. AST605 supports vehicle-specified DOT3, DOT4, or DOT5.1 fluid, collects used fluid in the integrated recovery bottle, and filters moisture from the pneumatic inlet before it reaches the fluid path.

Pulsating Fluid Exchange
Compared with conventional pressurized brake fluid bleeding, the pulsating exchange method helps reduce bubble formation during filling and can reduce the need for repeated manual venting.

Raise The Vehicle Safely
Raise the vehicle to a suitable height so the drive wheels are not on the ground and the brake caliper area is accessible.

Connect the Used Brake Fluid Side
Connect the used brake fluid recovery bottle or suction hose to the vehicle brake cylinder area, then loosen the bleed screw so brake fluid can flow out.

Prepare New Brake Fluid
Pour about 2L of new brake fluid into the equipment from the filler port, then connect the matching adapter to the brake master cylinder or reservoir.

Start Vacuum And Filling
Press the Vacuum Switch button, then press the Fuel Switch button to begin brake fluid exchange.

Monitor Flow And Finish
Monitor the brake oil tank during service. If refilling is too slow, use the acceleration switch; if it is too fast, use the deceleration switch. Drain used oil completely after service.

Fill and bleed the machine’s fluid line before first use, following the setup procedure before connecting for brake fluid exchange.

Dry the Air, Seal the Reservoir and Limit Pressure
Use Safe Working Pressure
The AST605 supports adjustable pressure, while the factory reference working pressure is around 1-1.5bar. Avoid unnecessary high pressure because excessive pressure may damage the brake master cylinder or brake system parts.
Adjust Pressure Gradually
The pressure regulator can be used for lower-pressure bleeding or fluid exchange when needed. Increase pressure carefully and monitor the pressure gauge during operation.
Check For Leaks First
Before changing brake fluid, check every connection point for leakage and inspect hoses for damage. Keep the new oil filler port clean.
Prevent Air In The Line
During first use, fill the equipment line with brake fluid to evacuate air before service. This helps prevent air from mixing into the vehicle brake fluid line.

Can AST605 Change Brake Fluid From Four Wheels At The Same Time?
No. AST605 is a single-wheel oil change model with 1pc brake caliper service. If you need two-wheel simultaneous service, compare AST609 or AST612. If you need four-wheel simultaneous brake fluid exchange, choose AST618.
What Brake Fluid Types Does AST605 Support?
