Como usar
Identify, Clean, Mount, Compare, and Repeat
Identify the Injector and Decision Needed
Record manufacturer and part number; confirm injector technology, permitted cleaning, connector, adapter, feed direction, seals, documented drive, and whether CT500’s low-pressure comparison can answer the service question.
Select the Correct Adapter and Voltage
Choose the correct connector and fixture, then select voltage for the injector requirement. If the setting is uncertain, start at 12 V and increase gradually to 70 V and then 120 V until the injector operates correctly. Avoid prolonged operation at an incorrect high voltage.
Add Approved Cleaning Fluid
Fill the ultrasonic tank to the documented operating level with an approved cleaning fluid. CT500 does not heat the tank; never run the ultrasonic system dry.
Run Ultrasonic Cleaning
Secure the injectors, connect the pulse leads, and run the selected cleaning cycle. Use cooling and thermal protection as designed, and treat cleaning as a process that requires a controlled retest.
Mount and Seal the Test Fixture
Install up to six compatible injectors with correct fittings and seals. Verify rail and channel sealing and plug every unused test position before applying pressure.
Add Test Fluid and Set Parameters
Use approved non-corrosive injector test fluid, then set the documented pressure, speed, pulse width, pulse count, time, voltage, and function. Keep cleaning and testing liquids separate.
Compare, Repeat, and Recover Fluids
Run the needed leakage, spray, collected-volume, preset-cycle, pulse, wide-pulse, or continuous checks under identical conditions. Swap channels when needed, repeat after cleaning, and use the two drain controls as instructed.
Segurança e compatibilidade
Match the Injector, Drive, Fluid, and Fixture
Match the Injector and Test Setup
Match the injector part number, technology, connector, polarity, feed direction, adapters, seals, permitted pressure, and cleaning method. Select 12 V, 70 V, or 120 V only when it matches the injector’s documented drive requirement.
Compare GDI Injectors at Low Pressure
Compare selected compatible GDI injectors under CT500’s specified low-pressure conditions. Use dedicated equipment for original rail-pressure characterization, calibration, or coding.
Use Approved Test Fluid
Use professional non-corrosive injector test fluid confirmed for the exact machine and application. Do not use gasoline or cleaning solution in the test circuit.
Use Approved Cleaning Fluid
Use a cleaning fluid permitted by the injector manufacturer and CT500 instructions, and follow the fluid SDS, material limits, and regional handling rules.
No Dry Running or Fluid Mixing
Do not run ultrasonic cleaning without liquid and do not mix cleaning and testing fluids. Follow ventilation, ignition-control, PPE, storage, monitoring, and disposal requirements.
Unheated Ultrasonic Cleaning
CT500 uses an unheated ultrasonic tank. If the approved cleaning process requires heat, choose a heated model and confirm that the injector and cleaning fluid permit it.
Secure the Rail and Plug Unused Channels
Use correct seals and fittings, inspect the fixture for leaks, and plug every unused position before pressurizing the system.
Conditional Reverse and On-Vehicle Cleaning
Reverse flushing is for compatible feed designs only. Cleaning without removal requires specified optional adapters and a vehicle-specific procedure.
Diesel Service Limit
Compatible diesel injectors may be ultrasonically cleaned when their approved procedure permits it, but CT500 does not test mechanical or common-rail diesel injectors.
resultados do teste
Read Spray, Leakage, and Volume Comparisons
Drips While Closed
Check fixture, adapter, seal, rail, and channel leakage before judging the injector. Persistent injector leakage after an approved clean-and-retest cycle may require specialist service or replacement.
One Cylinder Collects Less
A restriction is one possibility, but installation leakage, channel error, or unstable setup can produce the same result. Verify pressure and seals, swap channels, and repeat under the same parameters.
Spray Shape Differs
A deflected, split, coarse, or dripping spray may reflect contamination or internal damage. Repeat after permitted cleaning and escalate if the difference remains.
Pulse-Mode Response Differs
Compare injector response across pulse, wide-pulse, and continuous modes under the same settings. If lag or inconsistency remains after a setup check and repeat test, continue with the specified electrical diagnosis.
Difference Narrows After Cleaning
A reduced group difference under identical conditions suggests that removable contamination may have been reduced. Record every setting, replace required seals, and verify the outcome on the vehicle.
No Repeatable Improvement
The injector may already be clean, may have a nonrecoverable restriction, or may have an electrical or mechanical fault. Stop repeated uncontrolled cleaning and continue diagnosis or replacement.
Compare Before and After Cleaning
Compare spray pattern, leakage, collected volume, and response before and after cleaning under matched pressure, drive, fluid, and timing settings.

Perguntas Frequentes
Injector Fit and Test Questions
What is the CT500 cleaning-tank capacity?
Contato AUTOOL Store to confirm the tank capacity for the supplied CT500 revision before ordering.
Can CT500 test GDI injectors at original engine pressure?
CT500 drives and compares selected compatible GDI injectors under low-pressure bench conditions. Use dedicated equipment for high-pressure characterization, calibration, or coding.
What do the advanced pulse modes add?
Use pulse, wide-pulse, and continuous-injection modes to compare response and spray behavior under supported command conditions. Apply a validated measurement system when OEM dynamic-flow calibration is required.
How Many Injectors Can CT500 Test At Once?
CT500 provides six positions for simultaneous injector cleaning and testing. Plug every unused position when testing fewer injectors; five plugs are included for a single-injector test.
Does CT500 heat the ultrasonic tank?
CT500 uses an unheated ultrasonic tank. CT450 provides heated ultrasonic cleaning up to 50 °C for approved processes that require heat.
How Should I Choose Test Fluid?
Use professional automotive injector test fluid to evaluate injector performance. Use approved test fluid to reproduce test conditions consistently without exposing the circuit to unapproved liquids. If unavailable, 75%+ medical alcohol may be used as an alternative.
- If the voltage setting is uncertain, start at 12 V and increase gradually to 70 V and then 120 V until the injector operates correctly; avoid leaving the injector at an incorrect high voltage for a long time.
What test and cleaning fluids should I use?
Use an approved non-corrosive injector test fluid in the test circuit and an injector- and machine-approved ultrasonic cleaning fluid in the cleaning tank. Do not use gasoline, mix fluids, or assume generic medical alcohol is suitable.
Can Diesel Injectors Be Cleaned And Tested With CT500?
Diesel injectors can be cleaned with the AUTOOL injector cleaning tester, but CT500 does not support diesel injector testing.
- No. Compatible diesel injectors may be ultrasonically cleaned when their approved procedure permits it, but dedicated equipment is required for mechanical or common-rail diesel measurement.
Are the dual drains two fuel pumps?
No. CT500’s two valves control fluid discharge and recovery, and CT500 uses one built-in fuel pump.
How is CT500 different from CT450?
CT500 emphasizes a color display, electronic pressure control, pulse, wide-pulse and continuous-injection modes, an oil baffle, and dual drain controls. CT450 instead documents heated ultrasonic cleaning up to 50 °C.
What should I do if one result is low?
Check seals, rail, channel, pressure stability, and all settings, then swap channels and repeat. Judge the injector only from a repeatable result under the same conditions.
Qual é a garantia?
Unidade principal: garantia de 3 anos. Acessórios padrão: garantia de 1 ano. Política de garantia.
What Injector Types Does CT500 Support?
CT500 supports cleaning and testing GDI, EFI, FSI, and standard gasoline injectors. It provides 12V, 70V, and 120V voltage selections for different injector driving needs.
Does CT500 Have A Heating Function?
CT500 uses unheated ultrasonic cleaning. CT450, FN606, and FN608 provide heated ultrasonic cleaning up to 50°C, depending on the model.
Can I Use Cleaning Liquid To Test Injectors?
No. Cleaning solution can be corrosive and may damage internal machine parts, corrode rubber components, and cause leaks. Use test fluid for testing and cleaning fluid only for cleaning.
How Do I Set Test Parameters?
Special parameter setup is not usually required. Select the function number and set the test time. During detection, CT500 allows adjustment of parameters such as simulated speed, pulse width, pulse count, and working time.
How Do I Select The Correct Voltage For GDI Injectors?
Select the voltage according to the injector requirement. If uncertain, start from 12V, then gradually increase to 70V and 120V until the injector functions correctly.
Will The Wrong Voltage Damage GDI Injectors?
Short-term wrong voltage may not cause immediate damage, but prolonged excessive voltage can be harmful. If the injector does not work correctly, adjust to the proper voltage promptly and avoid long testing at the wrong voltage.
What Is The Difference Between CT500 And FN608?
FN608 supports 8 cylinders, while CT500 supports 6 cylinders. FN608 also has a 50°C heating cleaning tank, wider voltage ranges of 12V, 12-70V, and 120-180V, an independently usable cleaning tank, and two independent fuel pumps. CT500 uses 12V, 70V, and 120V modes, has an integrated cleaning tank, and uses one fuel pump.
What Is The Difference Between FN608 And FN606?
FN608 supports testing for 8 cylinders, while FN606 supports testing for 6 cylinders. FN608 is equipped with two independent fuel pumps for left and right fuel rails, so one side can continue working if the other pump has an issue. FN606 uses a single fuel pump.
What Is The Difference Between CT400, CT450, And CT500?
Compared with CT400, CT450 adds the pulse injection test and a 50°C ultrasonic heating function. Compared with CT450, CT500 further adds wide pulse injection test and continuous injection test, but CT500 does not have ultrasonic heating.
What Is The Difference Between CT200 And CT400?
CT200 supports 12V standard fuel injectors. CT400 supports both 12V standard injectors and GDI injectors, and it adds a drawer for injector adapters and accessories.
How Should I Choose Between CT150, CT160, CT200, And GDI Models?
CT150 and CT160 are 4-position gasoline injector machines. CT160 adds ultrasonic heating. CT200 adds two additional test positions for testing up to six injectors at once while keeping similar basic functions. For low-pressure cleaning and testing of compatible GDI high-pressure injectors, compare CT400, CT450, CT500, FN606, and FN608.
