It will help us position leakage on any pipe system quickly and exactly, such as EVAP system, Intake system, exhaust system, and so on.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<\/section>\n<section aria-labelledby=\"sdt208-operation-title-27297\" class=\"ag-block\" id=\"sdt208-operation-27297\">\n<div class=\"ag-section-header\">\n          <span class=\"ag-section-kicker\">Operation method<\/span><br \/>\n          <span aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"ag-section-line\"><\/span>\n        <\/div>\n<article class=\"ag-richtext\">\n<p class=\"ag-eyebrow\">Step-by-step setup<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"ag-heading\" id=\"sdt208-operation-title-27297\">Operation Method<\/h2>\n<ol class=\"ag-steps\">\n<li><strong>Add test oil:<\/strong> After assembling the smoke leak detector accessories, inject about 30ML of test oil each time you use it. The test oil injected each time should not exceed the MAX scale, and it is recommended to work continuously for no more than 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Open the engine bay:<\/strong> Open the engine cover and remove the air filter. Some models need to remove the airflow sensor.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Seal the intake hose:<\/strong> Place the standard conical adapter into the engine air intake hose port to plug the pipe, then press hard until the air intake hose is sealed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Connect the battery:<\/strong> Connect the power cord to the car battery, with the red alligator pliers to the positive battery terminal and the black alligator pliers to the negative battery terminal.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Turn on power:<\/strong> After the battery is connected correctly, turn on the main power switch. The power indicator lights up, indicating that the smoke generator power supply is normal.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Select the proper mode:<\/strong> In large car or pipeline complex conditions, enable \u201chigh-pressure mode.\u201d First press the \u201chigh-pressure mode\u201d switch, and then press the \u201cdetection start\u201d switch. The air pump will start working, and only after the air pump starts can the \u201csmoke start\u201d switch start working. After the smoke start, if the system detects that the instrument is not enough smoke oil or the continuous working time is too long, resulting in the system overheating, the \u201coverheat protection indicator\u201d light will be on until the temperature drops to the normal range and the instrument resumes work.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Check for leaks:<\/strong> Depending on the model, about 1 minute after the smoke start, the engine pipeline will be filled with smoke. Start to check the system leakage fault points.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Finish and store:<\/strong> Check the end, then remove the power cord and put away the accessories for the next time to take.
