The AUTOOL SDT206 smoke machine for vacuum leaks is a mid-to-high-end automotive smoke leak detector in the SDT series. It uses dual built-in air pumps, independent air and smoke modes, a pressure gauge, a flow meter, and a flow control valve to help technicians find low-pressure leaks in EVAP, intake, exhaust, crankcase, fuel tank, turbo, pipe fitting, and vehicle sealing systems.<\/p>\r\n

Review the 12V power requirement, testing oil rule, oil refill limit, operating time limit, overheat protection, and hot-surface warning before using the SDT206 automotive smoke leak detector.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

12V Battery Required<\/h3>\r\n

The SDT206 smoke test machine must be connected to a DC 12V battery to operate. Do not connect it to an unsupported power source.<\/p>\r\n<\/article>\r\n

Testing Oil Not Included<\/h3>\r\n

Due to logistics restrictions, testing oil is not included in the package. Buy liquid paraffin or baby oil locally for use as the testing fluid.<\/p>\r\n<\/article>\r\n

Add 10-15ml Only<\/h3>\r\n

Fill 10-15ml testing oil before use. Do not overfill, because too much oil leaves no space for smoke generation and may affect output.<\/p>\r\n<\/article>\r\n

Refill When Smoke Gets Thin<\/h3>\r\n

Only refill when the smoke becomes thin. Do not add more than 15ml at a time, and always drain remaining test oil before adding fresh oil.<\/p>\r\n<\/article>\r\n

Do not operate the smoke leak detector continuously for more than 8 minutes. Allow it to rest between uses to protect the machine.<\/p>\r\n<\/article>\r\n
